    Hello! Will BeamNG run fine on vulkan mode using Wine on Linux Mint latest version? On windows 11/10 whatever, it crashes, even with compatibility mode for older windows OS.

    I've been having difficulties with Vulkan on Proton. It did work with the initial 0.23 release but the following updates have made crashes more frequent. The standard DX11 mode works great though.

    I'm not on Mint but if you're running through Steam it should work mostly the same.

    Use of emulators, virtual machines and compatibility layers may or may not work. If it works for one specific version, it may or may not break in older or newer versions.

    It is only operable on Windows due to the engine that the application is built on. It is possible, however, to get BeamNG Drive (sort of) working in MacOS using a compatibility utility called Crossover.
    So I don't expect Linux to run it either

    You may have missed it but for a short time there were messages on the Dev Blog that indicated a Linux version was in development and planned to be released this year. Since that time the messages have been removed.
