I am on the creator's side. People spend days, weeks, months even years to make a mod, and you all are complaining that the piccolina jbeam has been used for this mod and all that stuff.
It's okay, I am sorry. I might have come off a bit harsh. I am just sick of how many people on these forums think it is so easy to make a mod but have never done it. I misread you, I thought you were one of them. It's alright man, he's cool. But thanks for the support, it is so much easier to work on cars in real life sometimes.
appreciated that and can't wait for more cool stuff to be added! btw this thread was the first thread I ever clicked on this site.
I don't want to be an asshole here, but this mod is really not good. Even for a beta release. The difference between me and others who are defending this heap of junk is that I'm an actual modder. The fact this mod is somehow still getting praise is really strange. This is a Piccolina with an engine swap. That's it. To try to hide behind the fact that its beta or that its too much effort to jbeam is frankly really stupid. Jbeaming anything off of a existing car (like the piccolina) is trivially easy. It could take up to maybe 2-4 hours, depending on skill. still better than leaving it unedited. And even so, if anyone were to make the claim that "oh hey, its still in beta so knock it off!" doesn't have any standing because you chose to fucking release it like this. What were you thinking? The exhaust shoots sideways, the deform in frankly so incredibly bad that its laughable, and some body parts are so extended off the main body that they aren't even touching the main body at all, and some of the paint is one-sided. These are all obvious mistakes and bugs that just go ignored cause you only listen to the people that have no idea how to mod and think that this is a good quality standard.
ok interesting (tbh the fact that it is a picolina which in from like 90s to 80s car on like a 2020) the creator should edit the vivace in a way so that it does not crash like an 80s car.
And is laggy like hell! I think that the mod is too young to be released. ronnoc should take more time if he is interested. I know I would be hard as hell to assign its own jbeam . QUALITY IS MORE THAN QUANTITY! --- Post updated --- [
lmfao you literally said like 1 day ago that you were on the creators side and that jbeaming was sooo hard but ok. Also how is it laggy as hell? The only thing that would make this mod really laggy is if the creator added too many nodes to the jbeam, overloading beam's engine, but he didnt bother touching the jbeam at all. You prob just have a bad computer... Ah yes, the game about crashing cars realistically has mods that are made to crash un-realistically, perfect.
Bruh how is Jbeam easy to you, how can the whole car be done in 2 hours if I've been working on Jbeaming a car for several months and it's still not done???
But he's saying like as if it was objectively easy, which is wrong, and I still don't get how a car can be Jbeamed in 2 hours if even the devs take months to do it??
I bet if you have some experience you can *edit* official car jbeam for your mod easily in 2 hours lol. If you can scratch in 2 hours, then you are Harry Potter
I think if this was the case, we would have many more mods with models downloaded from the Internet and Jbeam based on official cars made by experienced modders. And tbh idk if we're talking about doing it properly (like I'm trying to do) or the fast way like the Mustang or AE86 mods.
FIrst talking about my last post on this thread, I was just trying to just like suggest, just thats it. And speaking of lag, it was because i had almost 200+ mods activated so.
Explained perfectly. This mod isn't ready for release yet. It's not that good, and I think with a few more months of work on this and some more beta testing to figure out the bugs, it would be really good. It really is a Piccolina with an engine swap and a new design.
aight before the mod maker becomes another one of those who completely loses motivation to continue working on their mod; GOOD CONCEPT. Good start, but as the others have stated, the standard for good mods should not be lowered and we should expect at least a mod that can bring out the game's engine purpose that most people buy this game for; damage modelling. Do the jbeam man, people love crashing shit in this game, and to leave out one of the key factors to this game's success over the years and expect people to enjoy what you made is silly. Don't lose motivation. This isn't hate, don't think so negatively, this is formal criticism that you should seriously consider because we are just trying to help. Others such as the beam logo guy and porsche should be ignored. They obviously have no clue what they're talking about. Good luck, I hope to see this mod become something proper that most people would like to add to their car selection menu.
