I believe I have discovered why Australian Utes have monstrously high output tuned engines. It's kind of a necessity when you have 750KG of beer bending your tray.

    Also a general update:

The bed is now metal by default, with gorgeous ribs made by @logan Oram Feltham

And wooden bed liner is an option.

Which makes sense - a "utility" vehicle coming from the factory with only a wooden bed available isn't very realistic.

    Now that's more like it!

Plus, the metal ribbed bed looks great, very utility. Also any plans on adding roll bars? The chrome double bar from the D-Series would suit quite well.

Looks good, do you have any plans to add a bull bar?

Yes, actually, although currently it's more like an Aussie "roo bar". I am giving the Ute some BNS touches, like a roo bar, radio antennae and whatnot.

Which leads me to your idea - yes, I do plan to add a roll bar, so that I can mount blinding spotties on it by the bucketload. I am also thinking about BNS paraphernalia like mudflaps from the T-Series, aluminium side skirts, and enough decals to cover half of Tasmania.

Not the most stunning shot, I know, but because it's WIP I don't feel the need to embark on a two-hour photoshoot with multiple maps and photo mode setups.

Awesome sauce, the Roo bar looks really authentic. However I hate to nit pick the small stuff, but "Roo bars" usually sit higher with the top bar about 1-2 inches above the hood. Because your not going to hit a roo on the road, your going to hit it in the air lol.

I second this, even though most utes will retain the front fascia of their sedan/coupe counterparts.

Good point, the lights were half covered by the bars too so it should work out perfectly.

I have no idea, but I'm going on a quest to find whatever is the opposite of an "informative" reaction so that I can slap it onto that message. BRB.

So that was basically a very... interesting way to say that my mod looks like an El Camino?
