Takes 3+ minutes to launch the game

My problem is when I launch the game, it starts as a background process. 3 to sometimes 8 minutes later, the game finally launches. I got no reason why it takes so long given I got-

32GB memory at 3200 MHz,
A SSD with a whole terabyte of extra space,
A 3060 TI,
And a Ryzen 9 3900x at 4.2 GHz.

There's no reason for the load times to take this long, and I've already verified integrity, reinstalled, changed file location through startup.ini, and restarted Steam and my PC. Sometimes it doesn't do this, but lately it's been doing it nonstop.

 

How fast is the ssd? Use crystaldiskmark

 

Here is my results, I have a XPG Spectrix S40G 2TB RGB PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 SSD. Also checked disc health and it's 100% on CrystalDiskInfo

 

hmm I have absolutely no idea what’s wrong. Maybe run a virus scanner to make so you don’t have anything

 

I have a very similar system and even though I'm not having problems with load times, the system is being bottlenecked somewhere leading to lower FPS. I switched to a 5900X recently and FPS jumped by 10-15%, however I had to get back to my 3900X as I couldn't justify the price of the 5900X.

 

The problem is ONLY loading the game up, like turning the program on. My FPS when the game does start is perfect, no issues there. It's just launching the game from the BeamNG Launcher that Steam pulls up.

Gave it a try, system came back with no malware or viruses.

 

I have no idea what's going on either. I have much worse specs running 340 mods and it starts in about 20-40 secs.
Intel i7 6700 CPU
Geforce GTX 1070 1st Gen (Which is ALWAYS at 100% capacity and running beamng)
7GB of memory
3.85 TB local storage
2.48 TB external storage

I followed the tips and all but what fixed it in the long wrong was simply reinstalling steam entirely. At least it seems to have fixed it for now. Not sure if it was a file directory issue but whatever it was is fixed now. Big thanks for all the support.
