Almost Unable To Play With Traffic

Hello all!

Since a few weeks, I discovered a massive FPS drop when I enable traffic. With ultra settings and without traffic, the game has about 130-160 FPS but with traffic, the game runs with like 3-6 FPS and traffic needs to load like three times longer than usual. It's almost impossible to play because your car is barely moving and it's so laggy, you can't even turn the camera anymore. If I turn off traffic, everything works clean again. A few weeks earlier, the game had no lags with traffic. I even deleted all of my mods but nothing changed. I have absolutely no idea what to do now except writing this and I would be glad for help or reports for the same issue. I also hope that my message contains enough information (text/specs) because this is my first time writing something like that in public.

how many cars is the game spawning?

 

Thanks for the really quick reply! Oh, what!? Just counted and with traffic (without police) 49 cars spawned. That's pretty awkward and now it makes me feel stupid. I remember that I edited something at the options for traffic once but where can I cofigurate the amount of spawned cars? Can't thank you enough btw.

This game uses an huge amount of CPU to load cars and cars soft body physics, nothing light weight for your Cpu cores
If the game still doesn’t run as you wish, you can try spawning less vehicles or even disabling vehicle collisions, so the game won’t load any collision if you drive against other cars, and this will help for your FPS
