Hi I have released a mod to add an interior camera to all Automation cars a few weeks ago. @Halcyon80 made me notice that it could be transformed to something way bigger than what it is right now… After hours of work, the small camera mod is now a huge add-on, compatible with every single Automation car! Content of the add-on: HLC: Made by @Halcyon80 SDK: Made by @shdevanski General: 2x Interior cameras (2 different ways to install it) - Tuneable Spoiler: How to use the interior camera 1) Installation of the camera in the car of your choice: Easy way: Replace the horn of your car with the camera. However, your car will not have a horn anymore. Propper way: Install a custom gearbox of the same type as the one your car is supposed to have. The camera will be installed by default with the customs gearboxes. However, the gearbox will not be optimized for your car, so you will maybe have to setup it properly. Moreover, by using a custom transmission, you will unlock the access to different types of drivetrain, superchargers, twin-turbos and a N2O system. 2) Position adjustment of the camera: You will need to indicate to the game where the camera needs to be. Don’t worry, it’s extremely simple to do! In the tuning menu of your car, you simply have to edit the values of each axis until the camera is positioned correctly. You will need to click on ‘’Apply’’ after each modification to see the result of the modification. --> 1x Adaptative drive mode HLC 1x Realistic ABS SDK - Tuneable Engine: 6x electric engines (100hp, 150hp, 200hp, 300hp, 400hp and 500hp) Intake: It is possible to install a supercharger and a turbo at the same time. 3x superchargers 3x twin-turbochargers 1x variable boost supercharger - Tuneable 1x variable boost twin-turbochargers - Tuneable 1x NO2 system - Tuneable Gearbox: Spoiler: Gearbox tuning If the gearbox ratios are not good for your car, you can adjust them in the tuning menu of your car. If you have access to the Automation game, you can use it to determine the correct gear ratios for the car. --> 1x 2-speed electric gearbox - Tuneable 4x manual gearboxes (3,4,5 and 6 speeds) - Tuneable 4x DCT gearboxes (5,6,7 and 8 speeds) - Tuneable 6x automatic gearboxes (3,4,5,6,7 and 8 speeds) - Tuneable 4x race manual gearboxes (3,4,5 and 6 speeds) - Tuneable 4x race sequential gearboxes (5,6,7 and 8 speeds) - Tuneable Transmission: 3x FWD transmissions (open diff, LSD and race LSD) - Tuneable 3x RWD transmissions (open diff, LSD and race LSD) - Tuneable 3x AWD transmissions (open diff, LSD and race LSD) - Tuneable Suspension: Because of compatibility issues with some cars, the custom suspension parts can be found under the custom gearboxes. You will need to uninstall the default parts to use the custom ones. I have just saw it yes I guess I will answer here ^^’ First, thanks, I will add it in the mod description if you are ok! I have no explication for the color changes XD I did not notice the inaccuracy of the power of the electric engines, I will fix that! The stage 4 turbo is less powerful tan the stage 3, because of the default boost tuning of the stage 4. You can change that in the tuning menu, and get way more power from it The sound you are hearing when using the Stage 4 supercharger is perfectly normal, it’s the supercharger whine. Since you are using a race transmission, you can also ear a transmission whine
I don't know if I will add thermal engines, cause I will have to addeach kind of engine for a possible swap, with all kind of power. And each engine will need to come with its own sound... So it will take a lot of time, make the mod even more unclear in-game, and makes the mod quite heavy because of the sound file :/ Also, I have to say that it's actually quite easy to do an engine swap on an Automation car https://www.beamng.com/threads/tutorial-how-to-improve-your-automation-cars-with-file-editing.71694/ With this, you will be able to do all the swap you want in only a few minutes
