Theories for next car

As title says. What do you guys think the next car to release is going to be?

 

I personally think we are going to get some kind of a suprise car,maybe like a revamp of a car that hasnt been updated in a while, maybe the burnside(tbh its a pretty boring car compared to the other cars in the game), 200BX revamp,miramar or even the T series. I am too lazy to write all the cars that havent been remastered in a long time so yeah. Deal with it

Given the recent discovery of unused Moonhawk parts, that's what I suspect might be up for remastering next.

In terms of a new vehicle, I'm not sure. It could follow the trend of the Wendover and Wigeon and be a car with many shared parts with the newly remastered vehicle, or it could just be something completely new altogether.

 

Despite it being my default car, you're right, the Burnside Special really hasn't got much going for it in terms of function and detail compared to other cars in the game. I get it's historically accurate but there is a serious lack of parts choice, body types, and the handling feels WAY too flimsy. Going around a gentle turn at 25 mph is enough to cause your tires to screech and from personal experience of driving old cars this seems a bit inaccurate. If I were to remaster the Burnside, I'd keep its original design of course, but add much more to it. Optional extra gauges, different gauge cluster type, 2 door, station wagon, woodie, and a better police version.. I get BeamNG is not a police oriented game but I feel that alot of detail is missing with the police cars in general. Police cars back then would either have better brakes and a better engine with alot of kit packed into it, or just the regular car with kit packed into it. None of this is there, it's literally just a beacon slapped on top.
There are of course positives that balance it out, just saying this to make sure that it's clear I don't despise the burnside, but i feel there is a wide bit of room for improvement.

This is *probably* personal bias but I am hoping something very old is added, like the 1936 Chevrolet Master. Nice car, is well known for being hot rodded, unique in terms of handling and interior design, and some extra functions like non-syncromesh could be introduced alongside it. Not to mention the different crash physics, a giant 1.4 ton lug of steel that has no shock absorption.

 

It will have some sort of engine, possibly some wheels as well.

GM REMASTERED (With facelift and aero pre-facelift, with bodies from Nekkit and AR162B mods)
H-SERIES REMASTERED (w/ facelift, Pre-Facelift, with Wagon/Hearse/LWB/Square/Limo bodies)
MIRAMAR REMASTERED (w/ Wagon, LWB, Coupe, cabriolet, Hearse bodies and facelift/Pre-Facelift)
I hope in one or two of these

If making totally random guess that is not based to any realism, maybe large luxury limousine, kind of blend between Rolls and Maybach with Maserati kind of engines. At least there is nothing like that in game currently.

 

As others have said, the apparent moonhawk remaster will likely bring a platform cousin with it, I could see that being either a soliad personal luxury coupe, a compact car like a vega/pinto, or even simply a sedan/wagon variant of the moonhawk. considering that the wendover was only added recently, I'd doubt they will add another soliad personal luxury coupe within 20 years of it.

If the vehicle systems team were looking for a challenge, I could see some 1960s cherrier with hydropneumatic suspension being a fitting option.
If the theory about ETKDEC becoming a whole germany map is true, that may involve another ETK, perhaps an SUV, perhaps a heavy truck like an Actros or Unimog, or even something much older like a mercedes SSK.
alternatively, countries with their own unique vehicle style which have not been represented so far include Britain, Russia, Sweden, Korea, and Australia.

A modern muscle car would be cool, like a modern Barstow as a coupe, maybe convertible or something crazy like a Ute (maybe in combination with an Australia/New Zealand map)

The Moonhawk would be perfect for an El Camino-style Ute thinking about it

I'm also hoping something like the Toyota Crown Royal Saloon.Personally I find it a beautiful car and I think the soft suspension as well as being a fancy luxury car fits into the theory of the next upcoming car. Especially since the 2 newest vehicles seem to be from the 80s and 90s, it would make sense.

I really really hope for a British 60s/70s car, something like a Mini or a Leyland Princess that would really add something to the game, it is something we are missing as British cars (especially the mini) were crucial parts of the car industry and i think a super important addition to the game.

 

i want a mini-esc car too, or any brittish leyland car. and a lotus-esc car too.
