For anyone wondering, this is a US/North American powertrain mod.

@B3_Burner I loved your story as well and I used to be pretty active in the NorCal bus groups on Facebook. Went to school up there and also considered a career in transit, but have since went down a different career path. My powertrain mod is based off my favorite engine/transmission combos that you may be familiar with. Eg. Cummins ISM + Allison B500R, Detroit Diesel 6V92 + Allison HTB-748. Also was a huge fan of the Gillig Phantom buses you mentioned and rode them whenever I could.

Glad you liked my stories. You know it's been quite awhile since I've driven buses, but lately I've been having some recurring nightmares. They each start the same way. I pick up a packed bus stop full of people which pretty much "standing room only's" the bus. In my dreams, I realize I'm driving a route I've never driven before, and don't want to ask the passengers for directions, so I'm frantically looking for the bus schedules on the plexiglass shelf with the route map, making wrong turns along the way, and the passengers are getting pissed off and start yelling at me. I wake up in a cold sweat and realize I'm just having a post-employment dream, some 2 decades later.

In truth, whenever I bid on a shift (or shifts), I would always drive my routes in my car the weekend before the Monday the new union bids took affect, but I think getting lost in a bus was always my greatest subconscious fear.

 

I would like to increase passenger weight, could you make it adjustable? Id like to simulate 70 passengers (more for articulated busses ^^)

What exactly did you do to solve this?

 

Had to resize all the bus stop triggers. Found out that their size is fixed, not based on the size of the bus. A Scale of 19 on the y axis is enough to fit tightly the DT60.

Well for me some textures are incorrect and some configs don't work.
The 0.24 might have impacted this mod.

Very nice, especially that you are already working on a texture fix.
Do you have plans for a four axle articulated bus like the Capacity? So basically the DT45L rear on the DT60L. This is the only lenght version missing for me to complete this awesome set.

 

Oh boy I entirely forgot about those types of bendies! I likely will add that

 

the engines not working for me the vehicle does not go or rev or do anything, sounds play but nothing happens the bus door opening sound plays when i press o but the doors never open

 

It's outdated, DaddelZeit is working on a fixed version.
