    A light that lets the driver of the Wigeon know how close they are to flipping it over is my best guess.

    it's a light to remind you not to drive with the canopy open, would be very dangerous if a wild monkey were to climb in the open wigeon canopy and attack the driver:(

    I assume they correspond to the oil & water temp gauge respectively? Not sure why someone would have it like that, but what can you do...

    Yeah, that also was my first thought. However both are the same icons so it doesn't make sense. Thermometer icon is usually for water where for oil it is an oil can icon.
