It's a great mod you've made here, however I really have only one issue with it. Ever since the latest update as of 8/3/2021, any wheels I put on the car have white tires, and it turns any other tires of cars I have spawned white as well, if the brz mod is active. I'm not sure how difficult a fix that is, but other than that I really have no complaints about the mod.
I think @synsol simply replaced the brz file through admin permissions, thereby bypassing the date and time edits. Please correct me anyone, if I am wrong.
Hi guys, I've been refining this mod for a while now and have just started working on updating the gauge cluster, but I'm a noob at BeamNG and can't seem to figure out how to remove the old digital screen. I've temporarily put the analog face on it for now, that's why there is a distinct change of colour near the bottom of the tacho. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Hey hope y'all doing fine, I'd like to upload my take on the BRZ mod, based on Yannis186's BRZ mod. It's unclear when he will return from his inactivity, and I was unsatisfied with the in-game car as it did not accurately represent the real-world car (trust me, I daily one), so I've been fiddling with it using my limited modding ability and I am happy to say that I am mostly content with how it is now. I've also added the new 2.4L from the upcoming BRZ as an optional engine swap Hope the mods are okay with me putting it up here. (If not, I am terribly sorry and will remove it) FULL CHANGELOG: Visuals - updated facelift taillight - replaced headlights with expired's Realistic Lighting Mod - changed to facelift gauge cluster (still w.i.p) - updated factory colour options - repositioned signal/wiper stalk - updated steering wheel Drivetrain - reworked powerband based on real-world dyno - updated stock auto/manual gear ratios - replaced auto trans logic with default0.0player's Shiftlogic - updated torque converter to correct size - new 2.4L engine swap option from gen2 Brz (powerband only, no visual changes) - updated final drive ratio, now has 4.10(stock), 4.30(facelift manual), and 3.90(gen2 auto) Misc - updated curb weight to 1280kg and 1320kg if 2.4L engine is equipped - updated fuel tank capacity to 50 liters All changes - exhaust now resembles a UEL header upgrade (more low-end torque) - updated facelift powerband, use 'Facelift Intake' to equip this - updated fuel consumption - updated stock engine internal strength to around 330tq max. - updated engine idle RPM to 750 - updated auto trans strength - updated drag coefficient - renamed front suspension to 'MacPherson Front Suspension' - renamed esc modes Special thanks to Yannis186 and BeamNG What I want to do next? - retune suspension - fix the gauge cluster - fix the configs- idk i might have broke that whoops - update the facelift headlight visuals
The lights finally look like real beams now, also, postmortemslayer has a similar mod too, which, imo, might perform better?
There are a couple of people who are here for the 86 side of things so if you could add fixing the badges for it to the list, that would be much appreciated
