Doing some jbeam work to get some weight out, its getting closer to what it should be and actually feels different to drive

Quick little blender render with missing textures lol

Oh, and this is the current power curve. Subject to change as it get lighter.

My advice would be to get the power curve as accurate to real life as possible first, and if it's too slow due to too high weight, just reduce the drag coef which I imagine is really high for this car. You can increase it back once you get accurate weight.
Here's some info about the engine I found on Wikipedia, maybe it will help: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_FB_series_engine

I did find a dyno print out in my searches when looking for reference images, So I have that to work with.

I have the scaledragCoef set to 1.0, should that be lower and how much at a guess? or just play around with it until it weighs what it should?

Your ScaleDragCoef should depend on individual triangles, multiplied by an average triangle drag value it should give you a value close to the real life drag coef. But it will always be a bit off. You can play around with it a lot, yes. It should be the last thing to tune I think.

Little update, not too much work done to the LJ lately. Jbeam is annoying so took a break from that to make some wheels and tyres. So this is more of a photo dump.

None of the wheel/tyres are an exact replica, just made them good enough

    Beadlocked August Japan Feorce

Then added some bits and redid textures but they still need work

    Bathurst Globe

    Chevoit Hurricane-ish

    Speedstar Randmaster

    Offroad front bumper

    ITP Hurricane

    Method 407s

    Rolan R50

and lastly these but not ingame yet

As a big fan of kei cars especially tiny offroader cars, this thing is absolutely cool!
Is there any updates on this?

And yes, I have been lurking on this forum since last year and I made this account specifically to ask the progress on this little beast, so please don't flame me to death because of bumping this thread. :)

There hasn't been a progress update for over a year, I don't think there's any point in posting, so let's keep our Schnauze here closed
