Hawkeye Sunburst (solved) ‖ Can someone please explain what happened to it?

    I don't know why it was deleted, and another post on this matter was deleted. Does anyone or any of the devs (unless it is private/confidential in which case don't feel you do have to) please tell me why it was deleted. I mean there was the drama but if it is that it is stolen didn't @JsZ say that? I just want closure and if it is going to come back.

    From what I heard, it was deleted because someone claimed that he stole the model

    Mod has been approved in the first place, but the community found that mod is reusing the model without any credits which is violating the original model license, see CC-BY 4.0 license.
    Currently as usual in that situation, mod is pending-author and awaits for a needed change of the mod page and mod files.

    So in short, the mod will be back if the author will change what's required, which is the normal process in the situations like that.

    ...or not, seeing as he was banned. Which fucking sucks because I was so looking forward to the Hawkeye Sunburst and the Hirochi Trekker. But eh. It is what it is, can't win 'em all.

    It's still possible to get the hawkeye, just not on the official forums ;)
    Remember not to use installers, stick to zip files.
    Specific sites are quick to reupload content.
