re feeting the carburator is a bit wierd. i'm maing a platform by elongating the bench suport . if i want more clearance, i'll have to make a second higher platform and i feel like it's not good --- Post updated --- a more concrete view sorry i made it quick, it's not the most realistic finish
This height looks realistic for me. You can start by making the intake invisible, so you can have a better look.
You could get rid of the vertical part of the cooling fan housing, move the alternator to a lower position, replace the carburator with a sidedraft one and have a fan at the back of the engine, attached to the crankshaft pulley, to draw hot air from the cylinders.
View attachment 837006 a more concrete vie Humm, that's also a good suggestions. Btw, i'm thinking og moving the fuel tank to the back, under the floor board behind the boot doors. What you guys think ?
I'm thinking that it's probably easier to leave it for a few reasons... No people asking "why tho" Less labor Less trial and error (potentially)
Unless the fuel tank on the front is making your job harder, I'd keep it where it is. If ou want to move something to that space, I'd suggest to put the Spare tire on the back
The first reason of the front located fuel tank is weight distribution, otherwise you could use the extra rear space to make the engine accessories flatter and longer, you could use the VW Type 4 engine as an idea.
Man, you modeled exactly what I suggested him. I hope you can separate the intake and cooling bits from the engine block on our model.
May I ask, is this something you actually got in game or just a photoshoped screenshot of a normal Piccolina?
it's photshops concept arts so far. i still need more time learning blender before modeling there. i'm used to sketchu up and a bit of maya but those are not viable option to use in the long run, so that's why it might take a while before i make a real 3d model.
That was just a quick mockup of the flattest configuration i could think of without drastically changing the key components of the engine. Everything is separated already in the stock model. These are the engine and ancillaries in every possible base game configuration. The list on the right shows each different model that makes it up.
