A modern mid-engined supercar will be quite nice. New Civetta maybe?

Even in the Real World™, retired brands are resurrected pretty often. Think of Alpine, Bugatti, Datsun...

So how would it be a problem, to reintroduce Burnside as a high-end trim level of the Grand Marshal? That's exactly what Mercedes-Benz is doing with Maybach nowadays...

not to mention that with more recently introduced "lore", the "burnside went defunct in 1980" doesn't really make sense.

how is it that a company like gavril, who in 1985 can afford to completely redesign their pickup truck platform and make an entirely new engine design (which is quite advanced, as it's used well into the 2000s)
yet in that same era when personal luxury cars were still quite popular, they can't keep a mid-level luxury marque afloat?

And apart from affording to make new V8s, Gavril is also still able to keep two engines from the 60s; the honest Inline-6 (which eventually reached 4.1 liters/185hp from the 3.8 liters - 232 cubic inches/120hp it had in the 60s) and the venerable 6.9/423 V8 (which, along with the 4.1 Inline-6, retained its OHV design, as opposed to the SOHC design of the 4.5/5.5 V8s, but reached almost 300hp and over 500nm without supercharging, in its final year in the Roamer)!
The updates of the engine parts have definitely improved these two engines over the years! ;)

I did, as it says within the first line of the car's description.

The 1990s Special would basically be a more luxurious Grand Marshal with a new body, much like the Crown Victoria to the Lincoln Town Car. Car manufactures using the same platform/chassis to make multiple vehicles isn't anything new.

Here's another suggestion: an expensive 80s Japanese FR sports car by Ibishu!
This car could represent every 80s element of coolness:

    • Simple, clean-cut exterior design, full of angles
    • Interior design full of angles and weird 80s digital gadgets (as shown in the Soliad Wendover, in their own way, of course)
    • T-Tops (a feature never before represented in the BeamNG lore and, now that I think of it, could also be part of the Gavril Barstow and the Bruckell Moonhawk)
    • Headlights popping up in a weird way (I'm thinking of them being partly-concealed at their "Down" position, because this feature has never before been represented in the BeamNG lore either)

As for the engine powering this car, I thought of something else that hasn't been represented in the BeamNG lore yet: sharing the same engine between a family car and a sports car. A 3-liter V6, able to be mounted both longitudinally and transversely, could be shared between the FR 300CX sports car (my first thought for a name, also suggesting that the car is very aerodynamic - in that sense, it could also be called the 300CD) and the FF 1988 Pessima (and - why not? - the 1996 generation as well, with some newer parts), when the Pessimas' remastering time comes! The said 3-liter V6 could also be available in a Turbocharged version, with a single turbocharger (as per the typical 80s fashion and yep, you guessed that right, this is yet another thing not represented in the BeamNG lore as of now, on the Gasoline front at least), for making for a fast version of each car!

    --- Post updated ---

And a version with a longer wheelbase and a full Limo conversion too, both for serving as VIP transportation! BOF Sedans in BeamNG have never had such versions until now!

I just had another new idea which could be added in the BeamNG lore: how about a Full-Size, Unibody, FWD Luxury 4-door Sedan from Soliad, as opposition to the Full-Size, BOF, RWD Gavril Grand Marshal (or, maybe, its said upmarket derivative, the 90s Burnside Special)?
A car larger than both the Midsize Bruckell LeGran and the Soliad Wendover!
This car could share the transverse 3.3/3.8 V6 and 4.4 V8 powertrains, the Independent Rear Suspension set up and its retrofuturistic interior technologies with the Wendover but with a different dashboard/interior design and, of course, a much roomier rear seat and trunk space!
I found a name for it as well: Soliad Senator!

The car I'm talking about in this case is an 80s Japanese Sports Car, so it's in no way as large as a car like the Grand National, which was based on a 5-meter long Midsize Sedan, called the Buick Regal. :D
With that said, though, your idea is really nice: an 80s RWD Midsize Gavril Sedan/Coupe with a squared-off shape, T-Tops, lots of chrome and, for a bit of spicing up (both in performance and cosmetically), a performance version with a single-turbo V6 (a larger one than the 3-liter of the Japanese Sports Car, that is)! ;)
After all, there are the Two-Tone (chrome rim, black spokes, chrome center) Alder Basketweave and Basketweave Deep wheels to match this hot version!

    "Ding!!";)
I suggest cars in this way because one of the rules says we must not suggest real-life vehicles, so describing a suggestion in detail (especially in "non-existent within the game detail", since there are plenty more details and niches waiting to be represented in BeamNG) fits right into that slot! ;)

What in the name of all that's holy is this monstrosity?:eek::eek:
It looks like what EMW (the Russian arm of BMW, with a red propeller instead of the traditional blue one) would think had they partnered with Lada to make the Niva!! :p
Yep, BeamNG needs old Russian cars too, they would make a great match for the Gavril Trucks, the Gavril Bluebuck, the Burnside Special and the Ibishu Hopper/Miramar models!
