Is there any way to create this? My idea would be to have the soundConfig value change or the turbo sound volume change when the turbocharger wastegate is activated. is it possible to use Lua?
Now, I ve come up with two ways to do this... One is to replace the engine sound itself with the wastegate sound. This is the easiest, but not the realistic. You can make the sound with this, but I don't like it because you can hear the sound even though the wastegate is not activated. The other way is to use Lua; by using the WastegateFactor variable in Turbocharger Lua, you can make Turbo Hiss sound only when the wastegate is activated. Also, by applying this, maybe you can adjust the sound config of the engine sound.
Performance will not change. It just makes a sound like a screamer pipe. Here is a video with the audio changed for clarity. You will see that the sound comes out when the boost pressure reaches the max. Also, this picture was taken when I was able to change the sound with engine jbeam. What I am trying to achieve is a sound like these videos. Right now I'm experimenting with different ways to change the sound config of engine sounds in lua during gameplay. But I don't know if I can do it because I don't know much about programming. Also, if this works, I'd like to add it to my 2JZ sound mod.
