The Grand Marshal is a standard full-sized sedan and is about as muscular as a sea cucumber. I'd classify Bluebuck and Moonhawk as muscle. Reason I argue Moonhawk is because you have to keep in mind, with SAE Net horsepower ratings, a 1973 Road Runner 440 made a whopping 280hp. A Fox-platform Mustang? My dad had a 1985 GT, it made a dizzying 210hp (245 after he was done with it... supposedly). Moonhawk Sport (4 bbl, 378cuin) is ~200hp. I'd classify it as a muscle car, albeit a weak one.

Keep in mind: You could get a Charger with a 2bbl 318. The only thing less "muscle" than that is the dang Slant Six. A 1973 Chevelle with a 350 4bbl made 175hp. The 454 4bbl of the same year was 245hp. The base 307 in a 1973 Chevelle Malibu was rated at... are you ready? 110hp.

    The Malaise-Era fucking SUCKED.

I mean, the Grand Marshal RS is a thing... but if we are going to discount that for not being muscular enough, then we have to discount the Moonhawk too, leaving us with only one proper muscle car

As much as it would be nice to see all three American classics modernized, my money's on the Moonhawk. Looking at the waistlines and hips of each of them, they all have a similar rear hip with a flat front fender - typical coke bottle shape of the 1960s/70s. But, look closer and you'll notice grand ole MoonMoon's hips both curve up and inwards towards the center of the car...just like the mystery car.

What if it's a modern Moonhawk and is coming together with original Moonhawk remaster? That would be cool

It's clearly too big and not weird enough to be French, not to mention it doesn't quite follow Cherrier's design language

I have to agree with that. Being a modern Muscle sedan is enough for me. If it brings more bodystyles, I will be even happier. Since Toyota and Chrysler managed to make minivans full of practicality even with a rear driveshaft and differential, it wouldn't be crazy if Bruckell made a RWD/AWD "muscle" minivan (even if it only came with V6 engines).

I am late to the party and this is maybe a bit off-topic, but if it is coming from a european/asian car brand, it's not unreasonable to think it may have some sort of a mild-hybrid/hybrid system?
    Okay, hear me out.
Almost all next generation family cars coming from Europe/Asia have at least a hybrid/mild-hybrid version, and in BeamNG every modern car released/revamped in the last two years have at least 1 electric version, and ESC and TSC systems have been worked on constantly in the past two years as well. I would love to see more advanced electronics (such as hybrids) because electronics are just as important as its mechanical parts on a modern car.
Except if its a American muscle car, then I would expect 800hp V8 rwd and weighs 2tons, which would be a lot of fun as well.

I'm a bit late to the party, but here are my theories on what it could be:

    1. US premium car- some have suggested that it looks like a charger or VF SS, but I think it looks a bit too fancy for such a car. I'm wondering if it's something more akin to a Cadillac CT5. Alternatively, the underpinnings may be a lot more boring than we're expecting; it could be a FWD Lincoln Continental or Buick Lacrosse equivalent (though I somewhat doubt this, a RWD platform would more versatile for police and performance configs).
Either way, I could see this being badged as a burnside.

    3. Sports/Executive Asian car- The styling is overall similar to a V37 skyline, X130 Mark X, Stinger, and Genesis G70. If this is the case, I could see it being a new Miramar.
I think I should also mention it's unlikely to be a Pessima, as the length between the front wheel and the bulkhead suggests it is RWD.

    2. Italian/British GT car- this was the first thought that came to mind to me, something between a Quattroporte VI, Giulia, Jag XF, and Aston Rapide. The problem with this idea is that the styling almost seems too restrained; the front's probably not long enough for one of those.

    3. The Gavril Omega is back with a Vengeance- You know what? forget everything I just said, it's definitely this.

This car takes a lot of designs cues out of many automotive designs from the modern period, therefore, it is very difficult to actually know what it is.

Personally, I hope for one of three things that could happen with this car:
    1. A new country of a manufacturer - it would be pretty cool to get another country in the BeamNG lore, as there is plenty of unexplored territory yet to tackle.
    2. A new brand in the existing countries - it would be pretty cool to see diversified German, French and Italian brands, besides just a couple of currently existing ones.
    3. A new model/new generation of an existing model/brand - it would diversify the brand itself, but also the model years, whether it is a brand-new model or a new generation of an older car.

But it's been said and repeated that this list shouldn't be used for speculation iirc

Tbh, I'm leaning more towards your opinion on the Moonhawk than that of the @XR8guy because, apart from the anemic engine outputs, there is also another clear indication: the Moonhawk isn't as fancy as a 70s Personal Luxury Car should, because it also has a basic, cheap version with less equipment. A 70s Personal Luxury Car would look overstuffed in comparison, both in terms of looks (chrome everywhere, vinyl-padded roof, wire hubcaps) and equipment!

Oops, my bad! Anyway, does anybody think that the name is hidden in the teaser tweet? The Pre-Runner did have its name in its spoiler tweet (although it was kind of obvious), as well as the Wendover. Something like "Civetta Paradise" would fit, wouldn't it?

very true, but the rear fender of it really reminds me of the Vivace's rear fender. then again, that could be me just looking too deep into it. either way this shit is beautiful

i would throw in my two cents on what i think it could ACTUALLY be/inspired by, but honestly im not very knowledgeable on the specifics of cars. although i do hope it's another original like the Vivace or the SBR.

No one thinks it's inspired by a Kia Stinger? It was my first guess.
