My guesses are: If this is a modern moonhawk, then, I'd expect a an old moonhawk revamp, Same if it were a civetta, a bolide revamp. Or, it could be its own brand like the FCV was, and (I hope) would introduce tyre temps and stuff like that.
Something like an ultra muscle car would be a great way to introduce tire thermals Of course the devs are European and can't comprehend a non-luxury car with more than 150 HP or larger than a Honda Civic, so chances are it's a "proper F-segment luxury sports saloon" or something
This rearview mirror gives me HEAVY Charger vibes, which makes me feel some American sedan in it but idk 21' Scat Pack rearview Correct me if i'm wrong but usually they do the vehicle revamps + a new vehicle ONLY when the new vehicle is on the existing ones new platform, and I don't think that would be on a moonhawks platform lol
To be fair, I love all kinds of different cars, so every car the devs release is the car I want in game, hahaha.
I honestly would be all for more generations of cars already in the game. In theory it should be less work to make a new generation of car than to create an entirely new one, and I personally really like in any game with cars when there are different generations of the same model. Being able to compare different generations of the same car is fun, and also just a neat way to see technology progress.
Tbh, I love some kinds of cars more than I love other kinds but I completely agree with your thinking because BeamNG presents all of them in an amazingly realistic way! Plus, diversity makes the roster even more interesting than it already is!
other than facelifts, there really isn't any work advantage to different generations of existing models. look at the 80s and 90s pessimas; almost successive generations, and yet there are basically no parts shared between the two.
I hope it's not a new brand again, it's better to flesh out the lore of the old ones before adding too much new things. I think it's gonna be a Civetta because 1) in my opinion it looks at least a little bit like a Maserati (especially the front) and 2) Civetta is the only old brand (as in it was introduced early-ish to the game) to still have only one model, while there are three ETKs, two Hirochis, eight Ibishus, two Bruckells and seven Gavrils.
Except for the main base of the 1.8 SOHC/2.0 DOHC engines, the basic steel wheels as well as the hubcaps of the 2.0 LX. Other than these details, I completely agree.
The Bolide was released in 0.3, which was the original release of the game. The Moonhawk was released on the first update after 0.3, if I recall correctly, so probably 0.3.1? And the first Hirochi, (the Sunburst) wasn't part of the game until the experimental branch, so probably mid to late 2014. Hirochi wasn't in the 0.3 version.
Just in teory is this new car is Gavril fullsize sedan, and if it comes with some older gen of new platform. And remastered car would be prefacelift GM then we could get complete american fullsize timeline from 1990 to now.
Based on my honest assessment of the car, I feel it'd be more like Bruckell's answer to the Grand Marshal, as I think Gavril would've discontinued the GM at some point and bring like a replacement to it that's like the Taurus.
Right, but there is one major piece missing here. Ford stole the grille design from Aston Martin, so perhaps this could be like a Rapide?
If anything it would feel far closer to the current Chinese/Middle Eastern Ford Taurus as opposed to the fusion (which you posted).
