really slow repository mod downloads

Every time I download a mod from the beamng repository, I get 10kbps. I took a speed test and It says I have a good downloading speed. I tried downloading the mod with the beamng website but I still get the same result. If I download a file other than beamng mods, I get 7mbps. I'm pretty sure beamng is having problems with the server. Can anyone tell me why im having this issue?

 

Probably because you're far away from the servers, i'm pretty sure they are located in Germany and there aren't others around the world.

 

I think its not because I'm far away from the server because I used to get 5mb/s+ before that happened

 

I was also having that issue and getting like 180kb/s through the game’s repository. I cant tell you why you’re having that problem but, I can tell you what worked for me. (I did a speed test on google and was getting like 230mb/s so I shouldn’t have had an issue.) I tried downloading the same repository mod that was from the the game’s repository but instead of subscribing to the mod through the in-game repository, i tried downloading the zip through the BeamNG website. It worked perfectly and got a 480mb mod(Hirochi Prasu CRGZ Revamp V2.0) in like 15 seconds. I know its not as convenient but i hope this works for you
