the new pessima does kinda look like a holden i guess, but i always get accord vibes from it, plus the paint job looks almost just like this accord
ok yeah lol the skin does look like the Honda. I am probably grasping at straws, i just really want anything Australian in Beam
What engine you guys think we're gonna get in the race config? I hope it's a high revving N/A inline 4, there are too many turbo engines in the game
Hope it'll get some Diesel and heavily modifiable engines ! For the race variant, I'd like to say a I4 or a V6
Hmmm how about some silly V8 swap and a cut ( RWD ) body jokes aside ( not really a joke ) I will love a v6 diesel. or one of Vws Vr5 more or less something beam has not got get. or same with the new car. ( or both ) hybrid ( ugh) i love ICE cars. i was alive in wrong era. ( God dammit i love EQS and merc evs and some evs )
I remember that I posted that on the idea and suggestions thread about the MK2 Pessima, I've noticed the lack of a race exhaust, but not of a race config Btw, I made a list of new engines it could have
Passenger car diesels overall are missing from the game, with the exception of the ETKs and Cherrier.
A high revving NA I4 is nice but I'd like the Race version of the Pessima to have a high revving NA V6 or, if possible, a turbocharged V6 (or even a high revving turbocharged V6), since such an engine isn't represented yet!
I bet the devs read through these with a combination of amusement and a fair bit of head shaking with some eye-rolling thrown in for good measure. Every now and then, one might raise an eyebrow and nod knowingly while offering a wry smile to the dev at the next desk.
If it is a Super Touring car like it looks, an inline 4 is the most likely engine. The only exceptions I can think of were inline 5 Volvos and V6 Mondeos. Natural aspiration was mandatory, and engine size was restricted to 2 liters.
So if it is a Super Touring Car, the 2.7 V6 is out and the only engine eligible for it is the well proven 2.0 DOHC. Ok, we'll see how it fares! On a different note, I noticed that in the first phase of the D-Series remastering, 2 years ago, there was a detail I'd like the Dev Team to bring back in a future update: double front shocks. They would be great for handling, both on and off road, especially on the passenger versions with the Short Frames (like the Charro/Kentarch). edit: The double shocks actually exist as an option (called "Off Road Shocks) for the Solid Front Axle. For some reason, I was looking at the 3-Link Solid Axle which hasn't got this type of Off Road Shocks but rather a single type.
Well, the V6 could be destroked and sleeved to 2.0. The original engines of the Volvos were 2.3 turbo I5s, and the Mondeos' V6s were 2.5, but they were downsized to 2.0 for Super Touring homologation.
