So long as you credit the author of the jbeam (in this case, Gabester) you are using, then you are not breaking any rules. That said, it is still a very good idea to edit the original jbeam to suit the car you are using it for, otherwise the driving and crashing properties will not reflect those of the real life counterpart, therefore making the mod less authentic and enjoyable.

In this case, you are relatively licky, given that the Chevelle and Moonhawk are both similarly sized American Coupes from the 70's, meaning that the jbeam will only require a little changing to match the Chevelle's shape. On the downside, I believe that the Chevelle uses leaf springs (correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't know for sure), whereas the Moonhawk has coil springs in the rear, so you may have to change the suspension back to leafs. Furthermore, I'm not entirely sure if the Chevelle is a complete body on frame, as the Moonhawk is. I think they use a front sub chassis, for the engine and front suspension, while the rest is unibody. Again, I'm not entirely sure, so it's worth doing some research.

not to prove you wrong or make you look stupid im just stating what the chevelle actually is. the 70 chevell isnt unibody nor leaf in the back, its one solid frame and its exactly like the moonhawk. now im going off a real car but i dont know if the frame was modified but i know for a fact its not a unibody nor leaf spring in the back since it was a attempt for one of chevys "race cars". the 68- 72 (i think) chevelle was equipped with what was called the "special suspension" which replaced all there muscle cars suspension from only front coils (66-67) to full coil.(yea im kinda a car nerd... sometimes) but other then than thanxs for the help i really needed to know if i was breaking the rules cuz i worked so hard on this car and didnt want to have to restart a big part of it. also ill deffinatly make it more precise but so far the chevelle almost fits perfectly. thanks again Bakasan:D:D:D

It turns out you're right, after all I don't really know all the specifics on Chevelles, only that they're big, powerful (when 454) and heavy. I also found this page of a Chevelle restoration, which shows all of the chassis, suspension and bits. It's a good reference

But yes, the chassis of the shell appears to be the same setup as the Moonhawk, meaning that editing the jbeam will be very straightforward, provided you're chassis setup is relatively standard

I really like this Chevelle and would love to have it in BeamNG. My grandpa planned on buying one after he sold his 1965 Ford Mustang but he bought a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro instead.

why would i do that when the bumper is completely different with the circle tailights and it doesnt look good at all. and also cuz its a 70 chevelle not a 71.... 71 had different head and tail lights also different bumpers.

well i dont know just how correct forza 4 is but to build a wheelie car in forza 4 you want more weight in the back and a strong engine then the rest is done with the clutch but like i said thats in forza so it might not work as well in beamng although in forza 4 my drift car was built using formulas for real life drift cars so the wheelie cars might be realistic but you'll have to test to be sure

Increase power to insane levels and make rear tires super sticky. But then it is super unrealistic when not driving in a straight line. The wheelies are what i was worried about. Hoping someone knows a way around my method:p
