Hello everyone, I'm new in the game and I've been downloading a lot of mods and I was wondering how I can make my own skins/graphics for some cars? (like the rally skins f.e.)

Plus if theres any advice for a newbie just let me know!

    Thanks!

Hello there, as you can see making a skin(s) for a vehicle is actually pretty easy (if you get the hang of it) and explained in the old wiki, where there's a covet's skin templates so that you can make your own covet skin.

Then if you want to convert the skin materials to support PBR, you can take a look at the new wiki about converting them, but from personal experience I just take a peek of how the devs do such things by going into the beamng's root folder (located on where you installed your beamng, you will see a folder called "content". Inside it there's another folder called "vehicles" where every vanilla cars are stored.)

There's some stuff I wanted to say, but I think the wiki has explained pretty much all the basics you need to make a skin. If you need help with making your own skin, you can dm me and Ill see what I can do to help you out.

That tutorial has been outdated for many years and obviously it doesn't support PBR
