Game suddenly having lag spikes, FPS counter not dropping?

    Since I got my new pc about 3 months ago everything has been fine and gameplay has been smooth but recently I've been noticing major lag spikes that mostly happen when I touch grass or when I move a vehicle's nodes. I've checked the FPS counter while happening and it doesnt display any lower FPS.

    I've completely reinstalled the game and it did not help.

    My graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 1660 Super, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400F @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz processor and 16gb of RAM and any help would be greatly appreciated.
