Another problem with my cliff map. I've lowered most of the top of the cliff so I can texture the terrain without exceeding max height, leaving a berm around the edge as a barrier.

After changing the height (set height tool) and painting some noise, I get this:

It's only on the grass texture, which includes grass groundcover. The gravel and rock textures are unaffected.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Turned out not to be a much of a problem. Whenever you have a visual bug, exit and reload!

Exit from the game itself or the editor ? Any clue on how it happened can help us fix those visual bugs too. But they can be data bugs too so, we must investigate any of them. Thanks

I exited from the game itself.

Initially, I exited from the editor, the reset my camera to Orbit view. That's when the bug occurred. I re-entered the editor and tried a few changes, including re-painting terrain to see if the transparency disappeared when I painted a different terrain texture (which worked). But restarting the whole game eliminated the transparency altogether.

I have had this problem for years when doing big hight changes to maps, the terraing flicker on and off in the area where the changes are made, and the fix is as you say, restart the map.
