I was playing with Drive and I engaged the parking brake (I work with a keyboard), and I noticed two things: 1.) My car wouldn't properly stop. I engage the parking brake but it doesn't actually stop. In other words, the car keeps rolling a little. 2.) I went to turn off my Ibishu and I didn't know how :p I looked and can't find anything in the wiki.

Another topic I would like to touch on would be the stats. If you press "K" it brings up different tabs of node beams and stats, like throttle percentage and oil/water temp, as well as fuel levels. I'm curious, and just wonder, is it possible to change the temperatures, ETC. and speed up fuel consumption? If so, please answer!

There are two ways to do that.
    1. Drive the car off of a cliff.

    2. Wait for the devs to add ignition.

That is because your car is still in a gear. Switch to neutral and it should stop rolling. The car should stall in real life, but that hasn't (yet) been implemented into the sim. So it keeps rolling.

I'm pretty sure engine start/stopping will be implemented and they will probably fix the handbrake/whatever you call it:)

Yes, we are actually working right now on improving the handbrake, so it holds the car better and doesn't "rock" back and forth. We will also implement stalling and restarting the engine at some point too.

I remember someone a while ago figured out that there was a stall coded in but commented out, but it didn't work well with automatic trans. I think someone else posted how to map a key on the keyboard to start the engine. These are somewhere on the forum but i'm too lazy to search :p

edit: turns out i'm not lazy

IDK if this would work anymore though

Why would you want to do that?
The cars spawn with a full tank, and it would take hours of driving to run out.

Are you using a default vehicle?
And are you sure you ran out of gas?

Hate to be That Guy but this thread is thoroughly ancient and no longer serves a purpose except to provide a reminder of vindication for its creator.

    This thread:

    http://www.beamng.com/threads/0-8-0-0-discussion-feedback-bugs-reporting-thread.33989/

Probably isn't where that question should go either, but it should be close enough.

As said above it's the wrong thread to say this but the V key is for turning on/off the engine. You have to have the gear in neutral or the clutch pressed to turn on the engine.
If the rpm goes too low the engine will stall aka the engine will turn off

    3. Use a mod.
    --- Post updated ---
If he can still rev the engine then that would work, if the engine breaks then that does a similar effect. I doubt the gas tank went empty as no vehicle i know can run out of gas in merely 5 minutes, either custom mods, scripts or simply drove more than 5 minutes before he ran out of gas
