After the relative seriousness of my Somerset map, I had an idea tonight that a BeamNG Golf game would be a lot of fun, so I quickly chucked a level together to try it out.. and it is!

I only did a very simple map, just to test the concept.

But even that was worth the effort.

What I now want to do, is make a proper map, with a bit more finesse (basically spend a bit of time actually making it look half decent). But I was thinking, it would be much better if it had some decent function behind it. I know others out there understand this whole LUA world, whereas I do not at all.

So... I'm asking if anyone wants to work with me to make a gold game for BeamNG.

I will supply the map (although happy for input there too), you/they will need to supply the clever LUA stuff...

    I'm thinking of the following:

    - Teleport zones to move around the course (probably from each hole to the next, OR a central teleport hub - as the awesome Utah extra map has).
    - Ideally, a trigger to spawn a new ball at the tee. I've no idea how easy this is.
    - If you are a clever bugger and could do more (different colour balls for different players, or counting hits etc. Triggers for actually getting the ball in the hole, automatically moving it to the next hole, etc.)
    - anything else you (or anyone else on here) can think of.

The alternative is that I spend ages learning how to work LUA or the flow thing. I don't see that happening for some time.

Either way, let me know if you're interested.

    Thanks,

    EF

I could definitely give you a hand with the Lua stuff since this seems like fun and doesn't sound too difficult for me :)

Hahaha! This looks like so much fun! Can't wait to see this in the wild.
