Really? Guess I'll have to check it out!

edit: Yep, they indeed are called "Off-Road Front Shocks" and exist as a choice for the "Solid Axle Front Suspension"! Thank you! ;)

Noticed a wrong detail on the D-Series Beast: the Center High Mounted Stop Light is mounted on the Cab and is obscured by the Camper Shell. It should be mounted on the Camper Shell instead.

That may be right but in the D-Series the CHMSL is removable in case of the Camper Shell being placed so that there's no visibility issue. But there's a problem: the Camper Shell can't fit the CHMSL atm so it could be remodelled to fit the CHMSL for this purpose!

Kinda off-topic but, is there any proof that the gavril 4.5/5.5 engines are actualky OHC? Many members, including myself have assumed this and I was wondering where the idea began. The head shape? Camshafts in the blender file?

Tbh, I think it's about the natural evolution of the engines. Apart from the 4.1/4.5/4.9 Cadillac V8 and the 4.6 2-valve Ford Modular V8, I haven't heard of a single 90s V engine being smaller than 5 liters and OHV at the same time.
The 6.9 OHV is held for its good old-fashioned displacement and fitting image to the Gavril Full-Size Pick-Ups and SUVs.

This explains why the 4.5/5.5 V8s have been put in the Gavrils for 20 model years (1986 - 2005).

And considering how long was the Ford Modular lifespan, we could easily get a 2017 or newer truck with the same 4.5/5.5

This car was better than Chevy Silverado and Dodge RAM. I like tough 80's pickups

Yeah, although the 4.5/5.5 would certainly receive further improvements for more horsepower/torque and better performance.
Even the 4.1 Inline-6, 6.0 Turbodiesel and 6.9 OHV engines could receive further improvements.
Maybe a Gen-2 with these improvements, for all engines? That would be the most logical thing, since factory improvements in an engine generation can only go that far.

Random question regarding the D10 variants. I've tried finding some info on it, but haven't turned anything up. When the D10/D30 was released, there was an option for changing the color of the removable top, but it seems the feature was removed. Is there any reason for this? And can it be reimplemented without the use of a mod?

When using off-road springs on solid axle front suspension, lifted body will stretch the steering linkage, pulling front wheels to the left. So, it would be good to add an "Extended Steering Linkage" option for all solid axle front suspensions.

What is the maximum payload capacity of different versions of the d-series?
