Car Killer leaked a whole bunch of stuff just before the update with the final D Series remaster. It was stuff that was on his personal Imgur gallery. Around the 15th of December.
Well I can't tell for sure, It could really well be yeah I'm saying this cause I can't replicate it too well on my end on Ultra :/
That's nearly a pixel-perfect photo, nice! Comparing them back and forth the rock textures certainly look more detailed to my eyes. Not sure if it's PBR tho, but I could be wrong edit and the lights on the truck seem to be improved hugely.
Red interior? Something about the steering wheel and gauge cluster looks different here New rims also
It obviously is PBR. It wasn't really a hidden thing as in level editor, ground material setup was locked with message saying it's not future proof and they wouldn't lock that for longer than till the next update and it said it will be updated to 1.5 which is PBR but it's nice to see how everything is looking in PBR not just decal roads and grass sprites.I wonder if this will be a full PBR implementation including all the material textures or just basic roughness, normal, albedo, AO without heighmaps which would bring it to another level
Personally I'd really like the devs to fix the headlights of the Moonhawk and the 1st gen Pessima, they got a weird yellow color on the light cover but no actual glow effect for some reason now.
New pictures are cool, didn’t expect to see them. Good find. Kinda a baseless prediction on release but I’d say 1-2 weeks. I don’t see it happening tomorrow at all but I wouldn’t doubt that it’s coming soonish.
Leeloo's comment on the car/vanbus potentially changing prior to the update's release makes me think that we won't be getting the update this week. If the update were that close, I don't think that they would be making changes to content. I guess only time will tell.
It could just be more of a legal thing too, just covering themselves in case of a super last minute change. Potentially changing does not mean that it necessarily will change.
the new lighting looks amazing. the reflections in the asphalt + the way headlights affect their surroundings is a MASSIVE improvement to what we currently have. since we did see streetlights in the initial van trailer, perhaps we could be getting environmental/colored lighting on some maps? if not, all?
I notice a more aggressive bodykit on the 'new' Pessima, a new grille as well as reworked lights. The red interior is barely noticeable from that light angle. The steering wheel looks a bit different but the most notable difference is the chrome Ibishu badge on it. I guess it will be removable, just like in the more basic versions of the Bruckell LeGran. The gauges look sportier now. These wheels look amazing on the car. I noticed that it's the LX V6 version and, for having this aggressive bodykit, it's probably the LX V6 Sport. I say "probably" because I see no 'Sport' decals/tags on the body, as would be the usual thing of Japanese cars of that era for signalling each version. I hope it's got some good upgrades to the V6 as well.
