Lag/stutter using a 290x and fx-8350

    My specs are: sapphire 290x tri-x, FX 8350, 8gb hyper x ram and my problem is the game stutters even tho im getting good FPS, things ive tired: set everything to low and turned post fx off but still get stutter overclocked cpu since that is my rigs weak link but i still get stutter, the grid maps are playable but i get stutter here and there but dry rock island is real bad. any help will be much appreciated :) (kinda pulling my hair out trying to get it to run smooth)

    I have the same problem, I think it's because the game is loading textures and models as you drive and if your hard drive is anything less than a high end SSD it will happen.

    To counter this I, before driving, enter free camera and zoom about the map, forcing the game to load the content. Then turn on the car's headlights and ram it into a tree to load all the flare textures and broken glass textures. From there continue about without problems.

    To ease the problem you could turn down models and textures in the options but I can't guarantee it will work.

    you have just saved me alot of hair lol this was driving me insane but your free cam tip worked :) thank you and now i wish i want with a SSD lol

    I don't have no ssd and I don't get any real stutter....:confused::confused::confused:
    I have a 4tb seagate with 100mb/s write and 110+read
