Update Speculation thread

We're all paying customers.

 

The new UI is a lot better design wise though, the layout is much better

 

Like I said the old UI worked just fine. They just redesigned it for the sake of redesigning it, not because there was anything fundementally wrong with it. And the problems of the old UI carried over to the new one

 

Well. We don't know how much they will improve it. I am sure they will do overtime

I mean the re-design is an improvement in itself imo.

The devs haven't stated that the UI design is final, so I'd advise going to this thread if you want your complaints to be heard and taken into consideration

 

Why is there so much more hate in this new update then normal?

 

A small portion, most of it is still coming.

Some of the stuff is content, that is 100% all still in the works.
Some stuff is cosmetic, that is 100% all still in the works.
Some of the stuff is physics and gameplay related which is 90% still in the works.

We have seen a small portion of that in this update... hinting as to where they are going, what is coming, and what they are doing to get ready for it... but its still coming.

The worst part of all these things is that I know the stuff is potentially WAY out. Stuff that is coming or in the works that the devs themselves may not have even picked an update for them to come out in yet. But the hints are out there. Stuff is still in the works. Granted there is always the possibility that things get canned... but I think most of this stuff is pretty confidently going to make it into the game.

 

Due to the game having not much content for a 2 cycle gap (plenty of enough for a 1 cycle gap) but its been a 5 and a bit month gap. And the new UI being considerably worse than the old one. - btw ive never ever disliked a beam update in the past

 

Probably because this update took twice as long as normal, and had half the features (on release) compared to the other updates. I'm not hating, I'm happy that there will be a content patch in the coming weeks, but I can see where people are coming from.

 

Goodness, I love everything thats new but it´s so glitchy, my assignments keep stopping working haha

 

AM just glad we got the update. IMO worth the wait

And we are getting the new cars legit in a few weeks. SO its better like this now. Then when this gets used then oh looky a all new car. its a win win

But i hate the new controls AKA The new UI us just gonna take time to get the hang of

 

dude, we did pay for this game you know. Its not ungratefulness

Why is no one talking about new sofa, chair, tv and card boxes ?
Thats all I needed. Now I can live in BeamNG.
