Even for a mobile CPU, that is really underperforming! Is it throttling? Check when you run the benchmark, what are the temperatures, and what clockspeed is it running at?
I was thinking it was under performing also but couldn't get a second opinion. Gonna need some help on were I can find that information at, I tried learning about computers but got mixed up on where CPU meets GPU. Everything is stock to my knowledge and didn't bother with overclocking since it is a laptop.
Your cpu z show 800mhz there is the problem probably i dont know but that i7 mobile is able to do 2 x that score easily
Fx 6300 4.4ghz im not too impressed from the other cpu for now the 3930k is awesome though - - - Updated - - - we see on your and mine the benchmark that the last core of your cpu fall in performance strange i know the architecture may bottleneck but still fx 6300 for me and you 8320
I beg to differ, it does. I've managed to shave a few deg. C off the core temp at the lowest fan speed with this push-pull sandwich setup instead of plain push-only. I've been using this solution ever since, at least until switching to 4x180 rad.
I mean, yeah, it makes a difference. Especially at low fan speeds. I meant that with fans on just one side your temps should still be fine.
Redid the oc to 4.5GHz, but wasn't liking the 1.35v+ requirement. Settled for a plump 4.4GHz at about 1.28v and re-BANANA'd (imported from here)
A nice tasty Amd phenom II X4 965 processor Resulting 3.40GHZ = 3 vehicles before big perfomance drop Here is a screenshot
Is that just the same clockspeed of your previous result? The score it pretty much the same, so i didnt make a new result, just updated your old one.
So I just upgraded my video card from a 1GB ATI HD6780 to an NVidia 2GB GTX 770. My processor is the Intel i7 2600K, stock 3.4GHz, on an Asus P67 Sabertooth motherboard. Here's how the video card changed my Banana! score:
