I'm happy to have updates as soon as they want to give them to us, bugs and all. Everything you listed is minor; not gonna keep me from enjoying the new stuff the next few weeks.

That's listed in the known issues section in the OP.

But the issue that the bumpers of the moonhawk become body coloured instead of chrome when any livery is equipped is still here, noticable too on the new donk config.

Also, when placing the time app, it is stuck under the "back" button in this upper left corner upon appearing. I can't seem to find a way to move it anywhere.

This update is really wow. Few bugs few gliches ( I.E defualt car does not work ( always D-series ) And more. BUT its one of the greats.

The pessima was the remaster i never knew i needed. SO much content. I love the back seat if you remove it and the boot you can see inside the car. ( Cheap Gray bumpers like the taxi for base will be sweet )

I love the H-series remaster so much wanted content ( some Feed back a taxi model will be good and RV But not a must )

And the new car is stunning. I love the Taillights and its not conforming with most other brands. I.E Its a beamng one off and for that i ADORE it.

being a Bruckell am shocked we not got a Moonhark remaster. But we will..

I love the update i give it a 9.2 ( still glad we get car soonish ) It will be a 10 when the bugs are fixed. But meh.

Well done i love this update :)

As I really don't feel like reading through nine pages of posts, I don't know if other people have said some of the same things as me, but even if they have, I feel it is worth expressing my opinions here. Before saying anything, though, I want to mention that I tend to have high standards, and I am likely overreacting slightly. Beyond that, I should also make it clear that, despite my complaints, I am absolutely loving the content in this update, and I am excited to see the game continue to develop in the future.

With that out of the way, however, I have to address my main problem with the update.

It is clear how much work has been put into the H-Series remaster, and I am happy to finally see it get some attention. Considering that its real-life counterparts are well known for having a massive variety of different configuration options, its lack of customization ability seemed odd. The remaster certainly addresses that, as well as a multitude of other things.

However, I cannot help but notice a few issues. Some of these are somewhat minor. For instance, there is a grammatical error in the description for the 'Street Tuned' configuration (its vs. it's). This isn't the end of the world, though. Slightly more frustrating but still not world-ending is the lack of a 4WD selector stick or button, which seems particularly odd considering that the H-Series now has factory 4WD variants. Considering that the D-Series and Roamer both saw this addressed in their remasters, I was surprised to not see the same thing done for the H-Series.

My main complaint with the remaster, however, is the level of polish. Don't get me wrong, the quality is not bad, but it simply doesn't hold up to the standards set by previous vehicle remasters. The rear cargo doors aren't quite close enough to each other, resulting in a sizable gap in the middle where they meet the roof. Additionally, for whatever reason, some of the passenger variants do not have trim panels on their cargo doors by default, despite the option being available in the customization menu. The headliner textures on passenger models feel flat and unfinished, and the mesh does not line up correctly with the cab headliner. The result is a small tear on either side, where the sky is visible. The high roof also has some fit-and-finish problems, with the most notable one being that the hole cut into the original roof to accommodate it is ever so slightly too small. The result of this is a number of unnaturally sharp edges. This is particularly obvious at the rear of the cab, where the resulting shelf tapers down to a point rather than ending smoothly. Ultimately, none of these complaints are deal breakers, but I must confess that I was expecting more polish based on the D-Series and Roamer remasters.

With that being said, I feel that I must reiterate that I can see how much work went into this. I am not trying to be rude with this post, nor am I trying to say that the remaster was no good. Rather, all I am trying to communicate is that there are several areas where I see room for refinement and improvement. I hope that I have not come across as being condescending or patronizing, as I deeply value the interaction that BeamNG's developer team has with the community, and I would never want to suggest otherwise.

I'm happy to see all the new pessima and h series content! but, no update is perfect, and there are a couple small things i noticed:

on the H45 cutaway chassis, the spare wheel clips through the chassis

    1.png

(while I'm here, I feel like it would also be logical to flip the 8 lug spares around as well, but i may be wrong)

the pessima's passenger side door card uses the same window + mirror controls as the one on the driver's side

    1.png

and lastly, the ends of the anti roll bar and the end links on the h series 3 link axle move around quite a bit, probably a bit more than they should(?)

    1.png

that's all! hopefully this is helpful in some way

Absolutely agreed, I could turn the smoothness setting down without the wheel trying to shake my desk apart which allowed for more detail to come through.
    --- Post updated ---
I couldn't work it out at first, but then I realised they've added a new button. When you open the UI tab in the menu, you have to click on the green edit button at the top-left of the screen. Then the usual trio of buttons appears.

Question, why is the van without a side door even available still? There's no reason for it to exist anymore now that we *finally* have a side door!

Getting out of freeroam missions can lead to some bugs. Once I got stuck in mid air unable to change vehicle and such and this time I can't remove the slow motion and can't change the vehicle either. It seems like I'm stuck inside the mission.

We identified a huge problem with people running the game within paths that contains special characters. So we worked through the night until 3am now to come up with a solution for the problem. (Some logging library was broken). Sorry, took us some time to find and fix the problem. Proper changelog and so on the next days. For now:

    0.24.0.1 Hotfix
    • Fixed an issue with the game not starting due to special characters in the Userfolder path (0x5000003)
    • Added Radial Menu button to the top bar to make it more visible (press E or use the gamepad left stick)
    • Removed obsolete Back button from the level selector mode
    • Fixed rear Facelift bumper EU license plate on the H-Series van
    • Fixed Ibishu Pessima dashboard being removable
    • Seat width tweak for 1996 Ibishu Pessima
    • Fixed filtering options for Race and Rally vehicles
    • Fixed typo in a Drift scenario description
    • Fixed Couch load nodes naming
From here please only report bugs about game version 0.24.0.1 or up!

The 0.24 (0.24.0.1 from now on) Update looks and is amazing, as always! The sounds of the UI interactions are soothing, much better than the previous ones, and the UI itself is a real upgrade from the previous one.
The reworked interiors of the Ibishu Miramar variants look great and give me hope for a full remastering of this car in the future.
The look of the 'new' Pessima (also known as 'VM501') has been dramatically improved and the H-Series finally gets the content it deserves! And all of it is extremely interesting!
The Wangan SP-3 3-Spoke wheels look dope but a Gold colour option would skyrocket their '90s/'00s coolness factor, I'd say! And the Under Glow Lights look amazing, from the pictures at least because, among other irregularities, I also found one related to them.
Here's my list of irregularities found.

    1. In the H-Series, the top-of-the-line "H35 4WD LXT Passenger" variant (the black-on-gray facelifted example with the chrome details on it, for helping you find it quickly) doesn't have its rear doors equipped with the Rear Door Panels. As far as I could tell, all other Passenger variants have the Rear Door Panels on them (but check to make sure whether I missed a version or not).
    2. In the revamped 1996 Pessima, I think the 'Burger' livery shouldn't be called like that because all other Banger variants having custom Banger skins (not the Old Paint, not the Police livery combined with the Old Paint) have their skins called with the variants' names in the Parts Selector. 'The Atrocious', 'The Objectionable', 'The Unpunctual', these Banger liveries come to my mind so, naturally, it would make sense for the 1996 Pessima Banger livery to be called 'The Unpalatable'. Also, it could be easy for the newcomers to think of the 'Turbo Burger' livery as the 'Burger' one.
    3. In the WCUSA map, at the Nodeoline gas station at the Jefferson Imports crossroads, that part of the sidewalk next to the fire hydrant is still at normal height instead of making a ramp for the cars to go up. This has been like that since the 0.21 Update of December 2020. The screenshot is from Neilogical's video about the 0.24 Update he uploaded a couple of hours ago.
    4. What buttons do we have to toggle in order to turn the Under Glow Lights on and off? I went on to find their keys in the Controls menu but didn't manage to find anything related to them.

Yes, HUGE improvement in the ability to feel tire grip. Finally, we can feel when a tire meets and exceeds it's grip limit.

The "Foglights" binding (by default ALT + N) is used to turn on the underglow lights as well. Might be something to consider renaming somehow in order to make clearer that it does that.

Didn't notice that tbh. That's not right, the Under Glow Lights should have their own special binding.
