It's 4096x4096 atm... Which means it'll still have lower texture memory than the Cadillac, by 1 2k map XD I kinda planned to resize this to 2048x2048 as well, but I'm having my doubts now :p I love how clear it is :D

Ah that explains it, knew it was above 2048x2048 :p

Just make them all 4096x4096 then when you get it all ingame you can see if its feasible, I'm pretty sure beamng can handle it. Its always easier to scale down than up after-all :D

Welllllll, you say that.... But dDo lets me work at 1024x1024 work resolution and I can preview it at that resolution in the viewer, but when I'm done, I can tell it to re-render everything at 4096x4096, and I'll still be able to adjust anything and everything! So yeah, that's extremely useful! :D

Nice texture on the engine! Every little things is important for you. I saw it on the Cadillac, and see it again here, this is why you cars looks awesome, great work done on big things, but on the little things too.The Cadillac render was really good and as I see on thoses pictures, this one will be amazing too. Good work :)

Nice! The 1JZ you're building can also be a very good engine for your car builds. I wonder if that can fit in a Covet or even more unique, 1987 Bluebird SSS-R.

Here, have some more detail, including hoseclamps, ridges in the inside of the timing belt, alternator, ridges on the transmission, and some other bits and pieces :)

Still not done :p Still needs more dirt... This is at 2048x2048 btw :D That's why it has those black ridges on the intake manifold. I also messed up the alternator somehow... Will fix :p

I think I can cram just a bit more detail in there... It'll be even better when I upscale it to 4096x4096, which is completely unnecessary for BeamNG purposes but it'll look SO GOOOODDD :D
Btw, I just want to say... That's ONE DAY worth of texturing. Sure, a week of preperation work, but 1 day of texturing... And I wasn't even working from 9 to 5 or whatever. This would take about a 3 weeks at LEAST if I had to do it by hand.

Wonderful, simply wonderful. If your engine looks this good, I can't imagine how nice the rest of the car should be when it's done.

Also, is there any particular reason as to why the lower half of the cambelt cover is not there? I would imagine that Toyota would not leave the belts exposed like that for longevity reasons. Ang if you are going to remove the cover, you generally get rid of the top first, so you can see the cam pulleys spin about, is very nice...

Because I'm a twat and I modeled it wrong at first and then decided to leave it because I found one which had the bottom part removed, but not the top and because it looks cooler but not too cool for the stock engine:p
