Update Speculation thread

Are you mad for some reason?
No offense but what is wrong with the update in your opinion?
Okay, splitting it in two parts and holding the main feature back for the second part was a tad bit disappointing but first:
We all don´t know what is behind this reason they did that and second why do you think it was a bad update.
We still got TWO entire remasters even they didn´t implement everything players wished ( and RV Upfit or any new upfits which of course is a bit disappointing) but still, it was quite some content.
And on top we aren´t finished yet and there is still really nice things to come in a not so far future.
not even full three weeks from here and we getting yet another update which will receive a entirely new vehicle platform to work with plus some unreveiled goodies on top.
I was a tiny bit disappointed too with some aspects of 0.24 but in the end it was just another great addition to the game and i can only imagine the work behind all of this.
Again, no offense. We all spent about 22 bucks on this one years ago and didn´t had to spent another penny ever again which i would certainly call a good deal.

I don't think he's trying to stir anyone up, just a case of don't get your hopes up for career mode coming out in a hotfix.
ATV also said in his post that the "big feature" is still a couple of updates out from full implementation, and i'd bet that this "before christmas" update is just going to be a hotfix containing content that they couldn't get done in time for 0.24.0, mainly just the bastion and DEC remaster.

 

I wasn’t mad, I was just saying. I personally think that 0.24 alone would be a good enough update on its own, but some people have had bugs with it and are waiting for 0.25 to fix them.

 

I really hope they shove in some more configs for the Van.
I couldn´t think out why they didnt do a RV Upfit or any new upfits.
A large utility upfit could be implemented aswell.

No offense meant but i think we are missing some content that didnt make it in time for the first part of the update.
Lets see but the devs have never disappointed me at last.

 

Wouldn't they advertise the crap out of it before release? Considering it would be something that would sell the game to the public.

Plus would make sense to wait until they have added and polished most of the features they would need.

Do you guys remastered the H-Series with the pure intention not implementing more Upfits like a RV or a Utility Upfit?

Are people really mad that the update got split into two? The update itself is already quite good, and part of the reason it is in 2 parts is our impatience.

 

I feel as if am gonna defend the update. IMO the update is heaven Sure a Few bugs here n there. BUT new content is great. The van i never used it was bland. Now i cant stop useing it.

pessima MK2 i used quite often now... I cant stop.

AND we get the update just before or after of the sexy new car. Whats NOT to like.

I am so so so sorry Dev team this update is seeing so much hate. I love it

 

One should keep in mind that the UI work and the changes to the map (mission system) are very significant and almost certainly required a lot of background work that isnt really visible from the end user viewpoint.

God am such a beamng fan boy... well am pound of it.

 

Most likely they saw, that many couldn't wait longer and brought a half finished update to calm down the community and bring the other half to complete the update, around christmas. (maybe the sceduled date of release if the community had a bit more patience)

Wrong, people like me are mad because it was split in 2 completely unnecessarily and the whole update is littered with hundreds of bugs. I never once complained about how long the update was taking, im really annoyed it has come out in such a completely unfinished state. It should have all come out together at Chritstmas. The only people complaining about how long it was taking were the idiots on this thread which the devs should ignore anyway because they are all about 12.

So in my case i have less issues with 0.24 than with 0.22 and 0.23, but that seems to differ.
