Traffic: "Chase Me" Not Working

A little background:
Sometimes when I play BeamNG, I like to spawn traffic and set it to either "Chase Me" or "Random" in the AI portion of the radial menu to see how long I can survive. "Chase Me" is obvious, but "Random" is also fun, because the AI traffic drives like crazy, crashing into each other and sometimes me, making for a different type of survival mode.

The Issue:
Since the 0.24 update, this doesn't seem to work any longer. I'm still able to spawn traffic, but when I set it to "Chase Me" or "Random" it only works for a short while before the traffic goes back to normal. From what I'm able to tell, this seems to occur as new traffic vehicles spawn. This seems apparent because I tried following a car when traffic was set to "Random" and it continued driving crazy (as desired), while the new cars that spawn would drive normal.

I haven't been able to find any posts related to this topic, so I'm not sure if this is just affecting me, or perhaps there are few users out there who use these settings with traffic. I've also played around with the apps for AI and traffic with no success, nor have I been able to find any applicable settings.

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

idk if you will end up seeing this, but after the recent update, im not 100% sure if the traffic ui is completely made by you, but before there was a little minimize thingy on it, so i could get rid of the big traffic ui itself, well now its gone, idk if it was by choice or something, but i for one really found that minimize tab very useful. the traffic ui is pretty big and takes up space for something i will click literally once or twice after spawning and never after.

and removing/adding the ui everytime i want it is annoying.

i think i might as well post this in the ui feedback thread since it has to do with all that.

but another bug i have noticed with the traffic ui app, when playing around and changing parts, sometimes the game will keep its focus on the ui, and not the game, it ends up being super annoying as i have to literally fight with the game, almost forced to restart it just to get back the game to focus on the driving controls.
im trying to drive, and the clutch, shift down, and reset button on my controller all controls the ui and not my vehicle.... its stuck selecting boxes in the traffic ui.... so frustrating...

and the back button which should change camera, only brings up the new menu ui. until the game puts the focus in the proper place and i can change camera again.

I'm with you on this one. the minimize button was a good addition to the traffic app
