YES we got some Aussieish cars ( i know its a dodge ) Super car update nice to. witch is good as i think the MoonHawk will be the next in due for remaster. ANYWAY this really to me is imo the closet we get to a range of Aussie cars we will get TBH. SO this is what i think it will have. XT ( base model ) ( called something else i think ) With steel wheels. a 3.0 to 3.8 Say a 3.2 V6 ( maybe some more ) Base model no leather. Smaller screen ( remember when small screens where in S -Classes. More Basic seat ( no leather ) Maybe a manual in this. With auto as well. Aimed at Feets. Next is XLT witch is the mid range model witch will have the bigger V8 ( a 3.8 ) With nicer trim ( still no leather ) Normal screen, And nicer wheels, Aimed at familys. next is Vision AKA Luxury model. With leather . Comfort springs. As well as the V8 in normal tune. No Manual. And maybe a V6 for those who dont need the power. Now for the more fun stuff. AGAIN NAMES ARE MADE UP ( based on Holden commodore ) SV6. A entry Sport model. with sport springs. Nicer bumpers. ( more sporty ) Sporty wheels. race stripes in seats ( not leather ) smaller touch screen ( its about a sport car on low funds ) . And the 3.8 V8 with sport intake ( not Turbo ) Comes in Auto and manual ( wait all sport ones will lol ) next will be SV8. Same as before But with the v8. maybe the bigger screen. Sv6. next is the S Like SV 6 but has leather ( with sporty seats ) Even more sporty Body kit. big screen. more sporty Springs and steering. Then the SS the Sporty one with a V8 the poorish mans V8 performance car. it has the basic V8 ( in normal tune ) bruckell sport vehicles ( BSV. ) will offer range of Rare sport models. Like with super chargers and lots of cool stuff. With the best performance best body kits and so on. as well as lots of service models. Like Cop car ( based on the cheaper SV8 or maybe the SS ) but with heavy Duty springs as well as service models and taxis.
Everything you said is well thought out and a likely possibility and has lots of logic. But, I couldn't pay attention to that because "Aimed at Feets." I know what you meant but this was hilarious to me. All jokes aside, nice job.
Thanks. LOL my bad. LOL Just got back from some IRL stuff i had to do with 3 hours sleep and crappy spelling skills makes a fun mixture LOL
Either tdev is wrong or pranking us (has happened before) or the Bolide isn't coming in the next update - he said there will be one "amazing new car" and no new content besides that. The idea might just be to show us that it hasn't been forgotten, not so much to hint at an impending release. I would like to see a clearer shot of the Bastion, preferably a view with more of the side and less jpg crust for the love of all that is holy.
They said in the 0.24 update announcement that there would be more content than just the Bastion (the Bolide looks pretty close).
Maybe the picture was taken before it was apparent that they needed all hands on deck to fix bugs and as such don't have time to finish the Bolide for the next update? Tdev might also be intentionally lowering expectations to really wow us later (or just not up to date with the content team's plans). Also it still looks kind of breukis because of those rear vents
I wonder if we will get a Soliad version of the bastion? I hope so, even if in a later update. --- Post updated --- Hmm...
It's also interesting that Bruckell survived past the early 2000's, since their real-life counterpart Oldsmobile was put out to pasture in 2004. And before you tell me "actually they're Chrysler," look at the LeGran and tell me it isn't directly copied from the Cutlass Ciera. That means the Bruckell Bastion is a hypothetical modern Oldsmobile, which is... freaky.
Could be a similar situation to the D Series competitive offroad builds. Where they sorta looked finished at first glance.
Devs have gotten themselves flamed before for teasing things they didn't plan on releasing, not that they deserved it of course, but there's a good chance they are trying to avoid doing that nowadays. The competitive builds were an exception, they were highly requested and we got to see a lot of the development process.
I don't know if it's just me or not, but when I saw the Bruckell Bastion's teaser today I thought it resembled a red Subaru WRX STI.
Look at the legran next to any A-body GM (Ciera included iirc), and the resemblance is uncanny. The moonhahk is also a mashup of a bunch of cars from one GM platform (the Collonade coupes), and if anythind Soliad seems more olds than Bruckell. If we want to know exactly what A body the legran takes most inspiration from than I say that appearance wise it is a Century, but in the ofgicial uoutube video it says it was America's best selling car, which lines it up with the A body Chevy Celebrity. The 4wd wagon screams Eagle though, and there were no supercharged AWD A bodies (later iterations of the platform got an almost identical SC V6, but never AWD), so I say it is definitly a distinct design.
Eh, GM didn't differentiate all that much back then... your right interior is closest to Ciera. No ciera wagon iirc.
I don't see Bruckell, Gavril, Burnside or Soliad as a game version of a particular automaker. Sure, they're heavily inspired by American automakers, but I can't say, for example, that Gavril is a BeamNG.drive equivalent to Ford. So, we can have an automaker like Bruckell, with an Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera-like car like the LeGran and a Dodge Charger inspired sports sedan like the Bastion.
Aurora 1st gen --- Post updated --- Forget game updates, when we gonna get a forum update? Content, UI, all that good stuff. /s so it doesn't delete
