Gavril D-series Windshield Shifter?

SO i just noticed this recently (not sure how long this has been like this)
On the d-series (not sure if also on roamer) the auto shifter is actually a windshield wiper stalk. Is this supposed to be like this or no?

Could be 2 in 1, but then idk where the manual has wiper controls

Normally, on Automatic cars of that era, you have a second stalk behind the wiper one, that is used as the shifter to put the car in gear (you move it up and down aswell of course)
Either its a bug or an oversight? I know that one car (I think the Moonhawk) has a proper shifter-stalk.

Unless you have the manual floor shifter installed on the car, then maybe it's just a bug
