0.24 Discussion thread

Reload you computer, it's the first thing.

 

I got my trackIR today
Somethings I noticed:

1: Pressing F9 to stop TrackIR, breaks the camera, pressing NUM5 doesn't fix it, it just keeps focusing the place where I disabled the TrackIR
2: The video attached

 

so this is for everyone, I also have this graph from 0% to 100% CPU usage is shown below where it says usage

for some reason the bottom-mid left area of my screen is blurry

 

Press F5 to reload the UI, it's the blurry effect that got stuck.

 

The graphics from 0.23 to 0.24 heavy heavy!!! Before, I ran everything high at 58-60fps. Now the Italy map at the airport is running on medium at 32-40fps and crashing. what happened beamng? tidy up please

 

Does it happen in safe mode ? Have you tried reinstalling the game ?

I have 62 fps at the airport on high graphics settings

on junk rock, pbr was added, I think it is to blame for optimization, although it is cut down, but on Utah and on the small foundations of the USA, I am doing well

Good news and on topic : 0.24.0.1 is now available on Humble Bundle, the version name on the description just says 0.23.x.x.xxxx

 

I also want to fix the problem in the future that I noticed back at 0.23 after some time during the drift or skidding of the car, the fps jumps when the car stops skidding, it either comes back or after recharging the car, it usually drops to 38 fps on all maps, it can even be seen how the fps drops even to 20, although it shows 38, you can see how the game works slower

 

there is also no revision: in the mirrors of cars, you can't see the lanes on the road and the part of the car itself, and on the map of the ETK driving school, you can't see the solid grass in the mirrors at all, so it's not possible to park backwards from 1 person,make it so that you can see the lanes on the roads and that you can see the back of the car and fix the roads in the mirrors in the etk driving school, please

 

This has always been like this; an idea more suited to the Ideas and Suggestions categories.

If I am not mistaken, increasing the quality in the dynamic reflections should resolve this.

 

Is there a way to increase the distance that shadows are clear at? Might be a dumb question, but the obvious line of shadows is kinda distracting and I've got fps to burn.

 

That is a bug with the maps that have just been updated - it is using the LOD settings from the interior camera when it should not. For whatever reason, these settings are map-specific rather than global. To reset, open and close photo mode each time you exit the interior camera view. Good luck bothering the devs to fix lighting LOD bugs :|

Also loading default vehicles is still broken

 

The Barstow stripes livery seems to have chrome door jams as well as behind the bumpers.


I didn't know the Barstow was made out of Duralumin.
