I don't really know what that means, but the snarky response is there has been 365 of them. Oh, scratch that, it was added in on the 16th. Got 3 more days.

The snarky response to that is that we are trying our best with the time given. I have worked on the last hotfix some 100 hours this week.

    UPDATE: ... LAST week

So, what is broken and what does not work?

well, to answer the last question.
    my system:
    intel i5 4690k
    asus vega strixx 64oc 8gb
    16gb 2666mhz ddr3 ram

whatever I do, I keep having weird display when in triple screen mode, whatever i do with the settings:
    (don't mind the quality)
    Schermafbeelding2021-12-15143327.png
fps drops also when multi monitor is enabled. like from 53 to 48 fps in safe mode (settings on ultra

53 to 48... that's normal, i don't see that as a problem. You're running 3 screens, there will be a slight performance degrade not matter what

well, actually it is a bit strange, I mean, when running Beamng on 3 screens wide with bezel correction (5810x1080p) it gives me 53fps. when enabling multi monitor support, the amount of rendered pixels stays the same, but the fps drops to 48 fps... thats a 10% drop in performance without changing graphic settings or the amount of pixels other than multi monitor support...

This. The angles aren't lined up at all. I'm suspecting the angle of the camera is changing correctly*, but the origin/rotational point isn't on the edge of the camera and rather still the typical center. I also have a much larger performance hit.

*I'm not sure the angle is working correctly either. The configurator display is completely wrong.
    It's only Wednesday.

I agree with you the configurator doesn't seem to work as in other games. for example, If I implement my triple screen settings from ACC, it gives a total different field of view...

Thanks for explaining the issue in such a good an visual way. I spoke with our rendering guys and this is not so easy to fix because of how the camera frustrum is calculated. I'll think about this a bit more, but don't expect us to fix this in a hotfix please.

If it's not fixed, can it be removed until it is? It's just a broken feature.

I'm glad to hear that it is being worked on as I've noticed the issue mentioned also. In answer to the original question, the configurability of other sim titles is needed as others have said. My screens have virtually no bezels, but in Beam I to have to put some physical space between the screens as the render seems to assume some bezel width. So configurable bezel width would be good.

For me the triple screen feature in its current state is still a lot better than nothing, but I do hope it can be fixed fully.

How is it better than nothing if it doesn't function remotely correctly?

I wish this was higher on the priority list, I rarely play Beam because of the lack of support for triples. I have the bezel free kit which requires negative value bezel correction to look right which I doubt will ever come to Beam... pretty unfortunately as the games been getting really awesome updates lately.

Can't you do that in the nvidia surround setup?

How is everyone else getting on with this? I just got an RTX 3080 and with triples, this is great. The main issue is the frame timing with a Ryzen 5900X but it's really good.

The angles work correctly, obviously no bezel correction yet and the UI goes to some weird sizing with the 5760 wide image but it's very usable and enjoyable.

Did they fix it? They didn't say anything about it in patch notes.

I'm not sure. The screens don't line up perfectly but there's no option for bezel compensation yet. But it can be set up well enough that it's far better than either playing on a single or a stretched single. Would just like some better FPS but don't we all!

I'm having similar issues to everybody with screens not lining up regardless of the angle selected in game, however it looks like in the loading screen and menus the screens line up perfectly, is anybody noticing this as well?

yess, that's the main problem with the whole 3 monitor setup so far since they introduced it. It's not on their prio list, and it seems like a problem which is not easy to fix.
