I really need help on pop-up headlights if anyone's interested
It's not abour being lazy. I'm genuinly trying to make it halfway decent. I'm gonna completely overhaul the jbeam to fit the car. I'm genuinly making this mod the way I'm making it so I can get some experience in blender and working with jbeams. It's not gonna be perfect, Hell it might not even get done and I'm sorry if that happens. I'm genuinly just trying to get some experience because I'm just not good enough to make my own models yet. So yes I'm using other models and idk why thats such a problem. I use to envy guys like you who could make mods out of nowhere but then I realized how much y'all look down on first timers and people who are just tryna learn about it. I'm sorry it aint perfect and scratch. If you've got a problem then don't look at it. Don't have to say anything tryna get me down. that goes for anyone whose got an issue. click off, stop tryna downgrade me bro, thats just wrong

I believe you, just say where you got the model and everything and people will leave you alone.

I'm not "looking down" on first-timers nor am I trying to bring you down. I feel like a better way to learn would be to do the stuff yourself, as I feel like that's just better in all sorts of ways.
Sure, using someone else's model might be appealing as it's already made and you just have to get it in-game, but going to extra mile and actually learning how to make the model yourself would get you a lot further and would certainly make you stand out in the community as someone that actually wants to make great content. Same goes for jbeams.
I'd advise against making full cars as a first mod as it can be very overwhelming and a huge amount of work, I always suggest starting off by making smaller parts for vanilla vehicles such as skins, spoilers, exhausts, or even props, as those take a lot less time and effort to make but still learn the basics of modding. I know it's hard but if you want to stand out and take your work up a notch then this is the way. Wish you luck on your modding journey.

Alright but just tell me, i just want to have a look at the base model to see how it was and maybe give you some tips. Although lucasBE is right that you should start by making jbeamed parts, like i do. Making a whole car is very complicated, especially things like the suspension. Not wanting to bring you down or anything, but this car would be of a way greater quality if you took time to experience with smaller things. Take the CCF2 for example, he started by doing facelifts of the SBR4 and bolide, then he made the car with help from experienced modders.

thanks. also just remember I literally only have about 2 months of modding experience if even. I feel like I've done pretty well to only have that much modding experience

Even if you feel like you've done well, it's not wise to do a vehicle this early on, continue to try and perfect your knowledge on jbeam, perhaps modelling and such else for a vehicle instead of just doing a vehicle this quickly into your modding experience. As lucas said, addons would be better.

The only reason I jumped into a whole car so quickly is because i've always been a like jump right into it and find out kinda guy.... i've always been super hands on, I tried once to do custom stuff and didnt get far a long time ago

I see. Having that attitude is great, but when it comes to a vehicle, it takes time, rushing it won't get you far.
