So first of all you don't need to have it in tris for beamng, use the tris to quad option in blender. Also it might be a tad high poly, it might spike a bit in crashes, especially if it doesn't have a custom jbeam. Speaking of which you shouldn't hope making a custom suspension, it is extremly complex and for a first mod there really isn't any advantages to doing it yourself. Take one from the etk I-series, it will be better. To make the jbeam you can either take one from a car and edit to fit the shape (bad quality, lot of spiking, but easier and faster) or create one in notepad(++).

You should really try doing something like a bolide roadster or something like that instead of trying doing a whole car, you will probably abandon it in the middle or end up lazily meshslapping it, and even if you do finish it you would probably end up not being happy with the result and have to redo the whole thing anyways. Making parts/props is a way better way of starting, please trust me and other people, including experienced modders that started like you, that would say the same.

I don't think this attitude will get you far in this game, you really have to start from easier stuff, because making a full car can take even several years and it's extremely complex and requires a lot of experience and precise knowledge in many different things

Then do something else like the h-series or pessima, my point is you should start by doing parts.

I completely agree here, I've been playing this game for years but I realised I wanted to make my own car. So I am still working on making an open top I-Series, Old Pessima and Covet, and I have learnt so much. So I really hope OP takes this on board. :)

don't see why shadow's opinions aren't clogging up the chat any more than the kids who think that people are mean for giving advice

Calling something bad and lazy isn't exactly advice.

Dear mod maker of this, dont listen to this person

-The jbeam exporter is completely broken, dont use it
-Use ETK-I suspension not bolide or k series. Idk what turbo was smoking when he said that
-you can see how the ibishu 200bx body jbeam is built and try to replicate its structure using the new shape of the car

-I thought @Finn Wilkinson used it, so i thought it was still useful to make shapes. Thanks for letting me know.
-I don't know what are the specs of this car so i just typed the two names that came to my head at the moment.
That's why you listen to experienced modders and not people like me ;)

I said not to use it lmao.

What I did is demonstrated another way around it, as it’s not a very good plugin for 2021 BeamNG.
