Twincharged engine. Not out of the ordinary for the pricepoint, all of Volvo's current engines are twincharged. Would be really neat as well. Speaking of Volvo, a cloth interior would be super cool too. I love how volvo does their wool interiors.
Look really nice, has a certain Lotus Emira vibe to it. The chrome strip at the rear is supposed to be the rear lights? Powertrain wise, you might go down the Renault/Alpine A110 route and maybe use the Vivace powertrains.
Holy shit man, that surfacing is insane. Making cars look functionally curvaceous is not an easy feat but you've knocked it out of the park here. Well done. My only feedback is when's the release? -- Still making slow progress on my humble Japanese sedan. I'll never know how you guys can model so fast... and so clean. Since the last post, I've: Frozen the exterior surfacing. Bumpers are a WIP until the inside faces and attached parts are complete so managing the geometry is not a complete PITA Finalised the LWH as 4657x1748x1338mm, or about the length and height of a CT Evo with the length of an XE20 IS250 Frozen the wheelbase and track. Ride height will probably be raised before release (in 2025) Booted the front axle forward a few cm. It's looking more FR than FF now, as it should Completed the radiator support and related parts, unless I've shaped the provisions and routing for things like the wiring harness and intercooler piping wrong Revised the powertrain proposal. Decided on a turbocharged 2.5(?) litre I5 since the I6 was poking its head a bit too far in front of the front axle for my liking Blocked out the I5 technical package and positioning Blocked out the floorpan and transmission tunnel/differential/subframe/fuel tank/etc voids Made headway on the boot inner Made headway on the front frame rails, firewall, and strut tower aprons. Engine bay has thickness and is pretty much 'watertight' Remodeled a couple of areas that could be moisture traps Fixed some geometry and shading errors Rendered some eye candy. Please excuse my whack-ass lighting
Just wanted to give you a little update on the current stage of my projects. First of all, ETK A-Series is nearing the end phase of the development and im working on a big quality of life update for it, the update wont have a lot of new content but will aim to rework a lot of the minor and major issues with it. - The interior is getting a full revamp, here is the current status of that and once im fully done with it, expect a little follow up post (the textures are just for showcase purposes and do not represent how it will look in the end) -Added a lot of vanilla stuff that was missing from the mod, such as roofrack, oilpan and other stuff -Retextured vanilla parts which had subpar textures such as snorkel and bullbars -Per popular request added forced induction to all the engines in the mod as well as some additional tuning Uhh, where do i even start with this, the Ibishu Yume project is sort of on hold now, as i cant design an interior that works perfectly with the shape of the car, once ill have the ideas, it will be pretty much done mesh-wise, recently ive improved some parts of it and fixed all the shading issues it had. (yes here is the long awaited devblog for it) As for my other projects, if everything goes as planned you will see more teasers of Herman brand vehicles in the upcoming months, no promises though. The H-Series addon will get a nice update in a near future as well
nice drawing in paint, but you need to post like a picture of a skin or car or addon you made, not just a thing you made in MS paint
Some "improvements" to the friction settings in my first mod. Not sure since when it's possible but it wasn't back when I made the mod originally. Negative friction settings and separate settings for sliding tire friction so you can worsen the handling as badly as possible lol
