Failed to create user directory on game launch

I have just installed beamng and had the user directory in a different drive, but after installing again i get this error. I have tried reinstalling and deleting the directory on the other drive and i still get this error. I have also tried copying the files into the original user folder and that hasnt worked.

Have you tried creating a folder in the same drive ? That should be less troublesome imo.

Hi,

Please the the following steps:
1) Press `Win+R` and type `regedit`
2) In the window that will open navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive
3) Right click on `userpath_override` and select `Delete`
4) Restart your PC
5) Launch Steam -> Library -> Right click on BeamNG.drive -> Properties
6) Make sure that Launch Options field in the General section is empty
7) Launch the game
