Can't really say anything to that as I don't really know anything about servers (shamefully) but it sounds good.

Tried GIMP again and I know why I never got used to it, the default layout is horrible but luckily you can change that (which I never did because me). Took a bit to open a .psd I exported with Affinity Photo but everything seems to work fine. GIMP doesn't recognize the proprietary .afphoto files, which was to be expected.

I recently purchased yet another project Jeep, and this one is pretty crazy. It's an '89 YJ on Mercedes-Benz Unimog 404 axles with portals riding on 38.5" Interco Swamper Boggers wrapped around Hummer H1 beadlocks with run-flats. It's powered by a measly TBI 2.5L 4-cylinder backed by a 5-speed AX5 manual, but the astronomical gear reduction makes up for the lack of balls. The axles alone between the ring and pinon (3.55:1), and the portals (~2:1) are sitting at a 7.56:1 ratio. And even further, it has a TJ Rubicon style NP241OR transfercase with a 4:1 low range planetary.

That being said, I've got my work cut out for me. All of the bearings and seals in the front portals were wasted so I already went through and rebuilt them. Additionally, there's a fair bit of hokey stuff that the previous owner did, which aren't up to my standards of build quality. Primarily, the roll cage, which we believe is constructed with water pipe, rather than steel tubing. Other stuff I want to change includes the fuel system, seats and seatbelts, and the suspension bushings all need to be replaced. We are about to start building a cage for it this week since we are taking it to Rausch Creek Off-road Park in Pennsylvania Halloween weekend for an event.

after months of trying to get the throttle body on my car to work. me and my brother decided to swap it over to muitle port fuel injection when we took of the vale covers we found that the oil turned to sludge. i put a police speedometer in it. and i finely got to drive it today then the gas tank decided that it did not want to hold gas

Well, my server case got here. It's a Supermicro SC732D4-903B, one of these: https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/chassis/tower/732/SC732D4-903B

I bought this case in particular because it is known to accommodate the E-ATX (i.e., large and non-standard) motherboard I ordered - the assurance that the board would fit was itself worth the premium over most consumer-grade cases, but I still expected it to be made of only the finest chinesium. I was wrong, in fact the build quality is superb and easily justifies the price of admission. There are all kinds of clever features in this unassuming little case, not to mention it is made of some seriously heavy-duty sheet metal. A Kensington lock cutout, padlock hook and expansion card security bracket deter would-be thieves, a trick swiveling hard drive cage (in a way reminiscent of late-model beige Power Macintosh units) allows access to drives that would otherwise be obstructed in a dual-socket build, and there are rubber blocks all over the inside to provide noise reduction, impact protection and structural support. I will definitely buy another someday.

Note that Supermicro, despite being a Taiwanese-American company, is frequently the target of advanced Chinese supply chain attacks. I do not recommend purchasing their motherboards, peripherals, storage solutions, etc. as these may be compromised, but not a lot can go wrong with a simple PC case.

Since my most recent posts in here where related to guitars and inline skating I improved my inline skating a lot and my guitar playing a little ever since :p

These are my new inline skates next to my resonator guitar

That Les Paul is beautiful but the Strat looks nice too. I don't have great pictures of my guitars so I'll just post the shitty ones that I have...

In other news, I finally made some changes to my foobar2k layout. I wanted the status bar to display the bit depth of a track but couldn't find the syntax for the value. After some searching, I found it and even managed to automatically hide it on tracks that don't have that value (mostly lossy encoded tracks). I'll include screenshots in case anyone cares.

Been a few months since I posted in here AGAIN, yes I know your all wondering how I am coping with 128GB of ram, its fine

As for other things in that time, got whacked with a parking ticket, funny because I was parked in a bay and then got the ticket and apparently my tyre was a half inch outside the box making my car illegally parked when it was inside the box, urgh £30 fine paid right away talk about annoying, but yeah

As for other things FS22 been playing that so badly, sadly been burned out a bit on Beam recently, I know there have been big updates come out but I havent found the time to get on it and test it out...

Got into Arcane been enjoying that along with Star Trek again, YES I AM A TREKKIE!

I was at an auto museum/car show 2 months ago back in October, here are some of my favorite shots I took there. I figured I would leave them here for your viewing pleasure. :)

So a few days ago I was messing around in Beam, trying to set up an AI cop to chase me around East Coast a little bit, after which I'd escape to the docks and ditch the car into the water. But then I wanted there to be a roadblock at a certain location to test how any given car would punch through, and then I remembered that the AI tends to crash or get outrun quickly so I wanted another unit to pick up the chase at another location, but then I couldn't decide where I wanted the route to go, and before I knew it, it had turned into an attempt to brute-force reverse-engineer the Most Wanted/Carbon pursuit system using Flowgraph. And I've never actually worked with Flowgraph before.

Stay tuned, or don't, since I have a tendency to not finish things.

Hey guys. Can anyone fill me in on what I have missed recently? I have been playing beam a bit, but haven’t been on the forums much for almost a year now. I want to try to get on more regularly, I just don’t have as much spare time as I used to.

Hmm, not a whole lot that I can remember off the top of my head. There haven't really been too many big, groundbreaking mods. The updates have been great, but if you've been playing the game you will know that anyway lol. I guess for the most part, the forums have been mostly the same, just the same 4 or 5 popular threads being posted on constantly by annoying new members that are way too young to have accounts here. But good to see that you're back!

First I've seen of this teaser and it looks rad as it gets. I guess the people who called a Covet remaster were right, in the best possible way.

I hope this version will feel less stiff and "wooden" to drive than the regular Covet.
