Hey guys, new to the forum and new to mod creation. Been playing around with jbeams trying to make a high revving i6 for the I-series and I'm having an issue getting the torqucurve smoothened out, i played around with turbo efficiency and the the general increase of torque per rpm but it keeps hitting a wall at 8k rpm. any pointers appreciated, I really want a 10k rpm 2J XD

Show a screenshot of the engine jbeam? Your torque curve probably ends at 8000RPM or you have a rev limiter set to that value

It will rev past 8k it just hits that dip in the torqucurve and all the power gets pulled out and then it slowly builds power from 8-10k. I posted a picture of the engine jbeam and I also showed a picture of what I changed in the turbo jbeam. Hopefully you can notice what I missed, I'm sure there's a value somewhere that needs changed.

I think you are being limited by the long blocks. Scroll down in the engine jbeam to the very bottom & try to find the respective long block bit there. Change the RPM & torque values to fit the main RPM curve & that should hopefully fix it

I’m thinking that would be the problem as I’m fairly sure they have a value that sets 8000 RPM to 0

thanks for the feedback guys, ive since solved the issue. it wasnt a very intuitive fix, i just had to play around with jbeam values until it worked. Nothing was limiting it.
