ItsYourBoi updated B-Series Off-Road Semi with a new update entry: Looks like I forgot the trailers, here you go Read the rest of this update entry...
Since this mod's newest update, the doors, steering wheel, pedals, ect are invisible. They exist but are invisible.
Can you add leaf sprung rear suspension options for the rear axles like the front axle and suspension setup. Could you also add an offroad fuel tank that sits on the frame behind the cab and sleeper? the suspension change would make them a little less capable at towing and the fuel tank would heavily limit it's options for towing altogether but they would become monsters offroad. I also encountered a bug that occurs when reseting the vehicles physics while the suspension is articulating. This bug causes the cab, only the cab, not the sleeper to become pure white.
First of all, love the mod. Been using the B-series more than the T-series cause of the awd, really fun mod honestly. I know youre getting bombarded by unrealistic mod suggestions but ill ask anyways, how hard would it be to make a B-series based cabover? As in, the exact same chassis exept the cab would be above the engine? Aaaaanyways still a great mod, especially with the new trailers!
I did that in a slightly earlier version of the mod and it didn't work. I'll try again on this one. I'll update you on how it goes. Thanks anyway. --- Post updated --- It worked this time! Thank you!
Why does the windows become green, I have a fresh install of the game and only these 2 mods active. https://imgur.com/gallery/lIAPd1n
I've noticed what appears to be a pretty consistent bug. If I try to remove the cab from the twin steer the game will loose all vehicle textures. The rest of the B-series is fine. I reload and all is well until I remove it again. After a deep cache clean and removal of all mods except this one I was able to remove the cab but it would then crash with the next item I removed. I then saved the configuration with no hood and no cab, set it as the default vehicle and loaded up a map after clearing cache and the game crashes with a status access error. I had to go into safe mod to set another vehicle as default for it to run. I loaded up a older version of the game and ran the same tests with the same results. It appears the twin steers can't run cabless like the rest of Beamng or its just something I'm doing. Could someone test that? As far as the why, I would like to explore having the cabover on the B-Series like it is on the T-series. There is so much frame space available and I am also trying to pull 120 tons up a hill. Also love the mod, it really takes beam to the next level with heavy haul. Also the trailers don't seem to get love so here's a shout out to them as well. Your trailer mod mixes with Ar126b's trailer mod really well, add the B-series and real weight can be moved.
nahhh its too complicated for what I'll change I am thinking about it but I really don't have the time to make this :/ I'm more focusing on fixing my stuff right now I did some changes and its not posted yet but I'm pretty sure it will fix the texture issue... and I also fixed the crashing when removing certain part. I'm just waiting on fixing some other stuff and I'll publish it. Thanks for letting me know tho!! Also I'm glade you like it!
It really is great to see this beast being brought back, take your time though bud, don't feel like you need to rush at all.
Hey, question, when ever I spawn this truck in, its black and I can't change the color, as well as the doors won't spawn in. Also, all the glass is also missing. As well as missing steering wheel, white interior and other things. Is there any way I can fix this? Or is it being worked on?
The mod is also known to conflict with the T-Series textures, so that could also be a reason, but I believe the author has fixed that problem mostly for the next release whenever he's finished what's needed to be completed.
