Thank you, ive only been playing Beam for 3 weeks id seen the name cropping up over the years and never really took much notice until i saw a YT video on a rally stage and that was enough for me to pull the trigger, better late than never eh but yes my Rig can run it on max settings at 1440p between 90/100 fps depending on map and traffic.
Motherboard: Asus B550M-A (WiFi) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G RAM: 2x8gb Crucial LPX GPU: AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics SSD: Samsung 980 evo 500gb HDD: Some random 250gb HDD i had laying around PSU: Cooler Master MasterWatt 400w Case: Cooler Master Q300P I'll soon get a graphics card, probably something like a GTX 1650.
I've had my new laptop for a couple of weeks now and I'm pretty happy with it, so now I think I'll show it off a bit. OEM: Micro-Star International; GS76 Stealth OS: Windows 10 Home (considering upgrading, if Windows 11 is any good) CPU: Intel Core i9 11900H; 8 cores × 2 threads @ 2.5 GHz; boost up to 4.9 GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop; 8GB GDDR6 RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz; expandable to 64 GB SSD: ~1TB Micron 3400 M.2 Display: 17.3" full high-definition (1080p) @ 360 Hz HDMI Out: 8K ultra high-definition @ 60 Hz or 4K UHD @ 120 Hz Keyboard: Per-key RGB backlight keyboard (currently all red) Prior to this I was hardly able to run BeamNG; now I can do a lot of neat stuff with it.
Mine is complete batshit overkill for what I need, the RAM alone is probably lunacy but its better than the 2400Mhz 32GB ram I had been using for something like 5 years!, so yeah, I wont say how much this all was but it was a beast of an upgrade! CPU: Core i9-10920X GPU: EVGA GTX 980Ti MotherBoard: Asus Prime X299-A II RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 128GB 3200Mhz XMP NVME: 1TB Seagate FireCuda 510 SSD and HDDs remain same from TMO Mk1
Thanks. And just to add some perspective, seeing as some others have as well, here are the specs of my old laptop, as much as I remember without fiddling with it. OEM: Lenovo; Ideapad... OS: Windows 10 Home (not considering upgrading this one) CPU: Intel Core i3 8130U... 2 cores × 2 threads @ 2.2 GHz; boost up to 3.4 GHz GPU: Integrated Intel UHD 620... RAM: 8 GB of something... HDD: Even further from one terabyte than my new system... Display: Don't know the dimensions but it was marginally better than just HD ("768p") HDMI Out: Better than not having an HDMI out port... Keyboard: Regular keyboard with no backlighting... The way I see it, the new laptop is easily a tenfold upgrade compared to this.
