This is serious dedication, especially for an already legendary mod. You shouldn't even have to be apologizing. I hope your Christmas goes better than expected, because that is well deserved.

I'll be honest, I did make an attempt at updating the Coronet mod to PBR materials when 0.23 came out several months ago, but I only got as far as getting the paint updated and nothing more. I wanted to ask if I could release whatever changes I made, but I won't have to now after you updated more materials to PBR, not just the paint.

That being said, I do want to share some minor improvements that you could add to the main mod in a future update. Here is what I have changed:
    • The Police Department paint design now has a disclaimer in the parts selection menu in that it is best suited for the sedan body style, much like how the Two Tone paint design warns it is meant for the coupe body style. By the way, all paint designs now work with all body styles too (though don't expect all to be compatible as mentioned before).
    • The 4-speed drag automatic transmission shift logic has been revised. Now, it should shift normally like a conventional 4-speed automatic.
    • The factory colors have been updated to use the newer paint system. Thus, the paint should look even better than before.
I've attached the changes in a .zip file to this post. At the time of writing this, one should download the .zip file, extract the contents, and overwrite them in the main mod. Clear cache before running the game to apply the changes made.

Regardless, thank you for taking the time to update the Coronet mod so that it is more compatible with the latest version of the game along with the usual quality of life updates, even if it took you a year to do so since the last time it was previously updated. As the saying goes, better late than never.

    I appreciate it.

I didn't take part in its making. I'm just trying to keep it alive when I have the time. Thanks for the wishes though, and the same goes for you.

Thank you. I always thought that the drag transmission was supposed to shift like that, so I didn't touch it. I'll do some adjustments to the default colors at a later date. I sure hope I'll find the time to do future updates. Thanks for making this.

Still currently waiting on a response, I might just release it anyways since it just puts baarrys updates and my updates into the coronet file but I'll wait till I wake up to see if permission has been granted or not.

Update, permission was given, posted the file in the next message.

Thanks to MC-H, I have been granted permission to release my update, although it's small, I didn't feel comfortable with releasing it without permission. So yeah, whats new?

    - Included Baarry's fixes into the file.
    - PBR thumbnails
    - General clean-up of stuff.
    - The thumbnails aren't .jpg anymore, they're .png.

    I think that's it.

Big thanks for updating one of well-built mods ! I love this vehicle: unibody construction (like all line of Mopar platforms since 1960 - http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/static/NA/Chrysler_and_Imperial/1960_Chrysler/1960_Chrysler_Brochure/1960 Chrysler-14.html ), Barstow physics, wide range of trim levels, good handling and acceleration. 100/100 DougScores.
    P.S.: it's amazing, how dealerships compared their Mopar cars to another Big three competitors (shown on @OsbornTramain, @MyMopar.com, @US Auto Industry and other YouTube channels) - ;

The original mod can be found at the end of the first post, the modified mod is available a couple of posts above.

My deepest thanks to all three gentlemen involved in creating and refining this mod. This is one of my favorite Dodges, and I easily have more hours driving it in
Beam than any other car. AFAIK this is the finest Classic muscle car mod available for BeamNG right now.

Does anyone have a materials.json of this mod that means you can have a non-colourable skin?

All the skins that come with this mod are colourable, so there's no template in the main.materials.json that I can use to create a non-colourable skin.
