Recently I posted about getting BeamNG cars into blender and now I'd like to do the opposite. So basically what I've done is acquired a 3d model of a midsize dodge Dakota(no I didn't model it myself). Now I'm stuck and I don't know how to import this into Beamng drive. I've looked for tutorials and they really didn't make any sense for me. Can anyone break down the process even more that way i can get this thing in the game and potentially learn more about modding and computers in general? I know I have to use a text file and kind of code it in the game but i have no clue how to even start with that. Also this model might not even work, will it? Thanks, I know I'm asking a lot.
Also I'm pretty sure I'm writing this in the wrong category... i think. im not sure.

you should know that each machine has a main JBeam (carname_jbeam) and a Jbeam of each individual part (carname_bumber_f.jbeam) To begin with, you should install IO mesh jbeam-an addition to the blender for beam you can use it to make a basic JBeam to begin with

first of all, you must separate the model into multiple parts, bumpers, fenders, doors, frame, seats, dashboard, etc. For now you shouldn't need the wheels, you can use in-game ones. Then, you either need to create a jbeam for it or base it on an already existing one. The D-series jbeam should do. Go find the d-series files in the root folder of the game, and paste them into C:\yourusername\apdata\local\beamng.drive\0.24\vehicles\pickup\(name of your mod). Then, replace the D-series .dae file by your model. Then, open the jbeam file o each part using notepad++ and change the flexbodies part to match the name of each part in blender. you will then need to edit the position of the nodes to match the model. That's the basics, there are a lot of other things to do but that's the big part.

It takes several months or years to do and the model you have here probably won't work at all (not detailed enough). It's not an easy thing you can do in 5 minutes.

No like it doesnt jbeam properly,
If you exported a cylinder it would just be a floppy mesh

It only exports what you created, you need to add all the cross beams in Blender as edges
