Recently, my Steam version of BeamNG has been crashing, I would like to re-install it. If I was to delete the files from the steam directory of the game, can I simply re-download it via steam on play with the base version? Thanks :)

Right click on BeamNG on steam then go to properties and then to local files. Try verifying the cache first and if that doesn't work you can delete the files from there and re-install.

Yes, as far as I know there is no way to remove a game from your account. Deleting the local content will still keep the game in your steam account.

From what I've heard Support will happily remove an item from your account as long as you aren't looking for a refund. *coughbadratsgaggiftscough* Deleting the local content will not remove the game from your Steam account.
