I don't think this is a very fair statement, you have no clue about what goes on in SF's personal life, he may be too busy to update or spend time working on this mod or he simply may have lost interest in it, this mod is quite complex and there are lots of parts compared to other contemporary mods and applying PBR and fixing bugs would take a while. People who have the capabilities to update the mod may also not want to do so because of how big it is, telling SF to "swallow his pride and let someone else update it" is rude considering he has no obligation to continue or fix this mod just to please you

This is the level of toxic brigading I would expect from a place like reddit, youtube comments, or some nondescript discord server, but this terrible forum never fails to disappoint. Agent_y (and maybe Illinoisman) was the only person who brought up a good point on the complexity of the mod and didn't jump on me like a shit flinging baboon, but I don't particularly see how it's that much more complex than a mod like the Dodge Coronet which also required a ton of effort. The mob mentality of the internet is extremely predictable and morons like you will always succumb to it.

Actually, some people read it and just didn't respond to not get piled onto by either side But since I'm a mob mentality moron now for attempting to improve things by staying out of them (if I understood correctly), here's my opinion:

I don't think that he's doing this out of his own ego, just out of concern for the level of quality. I suspect that if someone did go to the effort of improving it and DMing it to him, he'd be happy to look it over, to make sure it matches his team's level of quality, and then determine if it could be released or not.

Well, the mod still works pretty admirably and I can't see any massive problems with it, so that's something.

 

You could write something better, @SergentFido wasted a lot of time just to give us this cool car. He could just give us a shit that doesn't even a mod. You could write similar to this but don't like this, seems like you're a boss here

Thanks @Agent_Y and all other fellow for supporting and undestanding what makes this mod so hard to update.
In addition to what Agent said, there are also so much textures and skins that updating it to PBR is just a big pain in the a.. and i don' t know when i'll be able to update.
I've had some discussion with some good fellows of the beta test group to organize an update, but everyone has a life, and fortunatly a busy one.
So don't expect an update very soon, even if the interest in making it is strong. There's just a lack of free time.

I love this mod be updated but I understand how its a real pain its very old and the sheer amount of configs the mod has makes it very hard.
